Ancient Temple

This was a great puzzle-driven room with some fun mechanics that ended up with a healthy balance between being high-tech and mechanical. It was a bit cramped with five adults, but a lot of fun nonetheless.

This room had solid puzzles and theming, but some of the ideas didn’t really match the Mayan temple theme. P.S. We beat the monthly record by 9 mins.

Though culturally and thematically confusing, with some immersion breaking elements, this was a really fun room packed with plenty of hi-tech multi-linear puzzles and locks. If you can finish under 30 minutes, you can even get a free game (we used ours on Atlantis)!

Really cool room, heaps of interesting puzzles and a great feel/atmosphere in the room. We got stuck on one particularly tricky/clever puzzle and needed a hint (sad), but the delivery of the hint was really well done by the staff, as they questioned the info wed figured out already and gently pushed us towards the right place to look, rather than some generic clue. My only "ehh" was that they used small yellow stickers to mark what was and wasn't part of any of the puzzles, which might be nice for some but I found it took away a little from the mystery/simplified things. Would definitely recommend

Managed to get last minute booking and played this room with my partner. Fun and pretty creative puzzles with interesting theme. It was a bit too dark in the room to my taste especially when some puzzles involved colours etc. Also felt like our host was a bit in a rush to get us out (last players on Friday night) but we liked the game!

Popped in on a short notice booking late one Friday night on a single night stop over in Wellington. The room was a great find, the Game Master was super passionate about the rooms, and very accommodating, especially given the short notice of our booking. The room itself was great, fantastic decor and design, with well thought out puzzles. The room was so well aesthetically designed that it made it easy to miss some things that were in plain sight, which honestly, I love.

Good flow, good theming to the room. Fun mechanical based room. Some really interesting puzzles.

There were some unique aspects that I did not see coming! Definitely keep your eyes open for things as well, but I believe I well done fun room.
