That is probably their best room.Puzzles all made sense and the jump scare at the end was awesome.

We did the Annabelle room after doing 'The Nun' room at another Lost in Melbourne facility. Annabelle whilst a good concept overall with good puzzles was fairly run-down. The props were dated and it felt like the third room was incomplete and not very well thought out. I would recommend doing 'The Nun' room at the other Lost in Melbourne facility if you are looking for a scary escape room experience.
As mentioned above props were dated. Room looked old.

A good spooky room. One animatronic wasn't incredible but doesn't detract from the game either. Good puzzles, although one required item was pretty hard to find due to the lighting.

As Lost in Melbourneβs main attraction, it makes sense that Annabelle is by far their best room. With clever puzzles and set design, the room throws in a few fun curve balls that add a lot of variety and engagement. By utilising a very popular movie franchise players are able to easily familiarise themselves with the world and enjoy the experience more. Having majority of the gameplay set inside the Warrenβs Occult Museum is immersive and fitting but can become tiresome when trying to identify which of the huge quantity of props actually need to be interacted with and which are just there for decoration. Not gamebreaking, just a peeve of mine. Having said that the main con for me just comes with the roomβs age. Having been open for a fair few years the general wear and tear is starting to show in the form of scuffed paint, hot glue markings, exposed wires/tech and outdated mannequin quality. A revamp of this one would do it wonders! All round a solid, albeit tired room.
Gamemaster interaction and customer service left a lot to be desired.

This was the best of the three rooms we played and had a wide variety of puzzles that were mostly challenging and engaging. The space was used nicely and probably had the best flow with things being mostly intuitive though made more challenging with the incredibly dim lighting and distinct lack of torch. The storyline could use some work as it has good promise but then has random jumpscares that rely on old tech and are just not up to par with newer rooms. Anabelle came to us with its fair share of recommendation but also with an equal share of warning. Less for the scares and fear factor and more for worn and tired nature of the room. This warning was not without validity as I found the room completely tired with basically everything hot glued down leading to a bit of frustration trying to interact with things. Beyond the gameplay experience our Game Master was incredibly flat and joyless to the point that we exited the room and immediately felt like we had done something wrong. We were not really offered any congratulations or time to chat about the room as he seemed more intent on getting the room reset (regardless of the fact that we escaped with over 20 minutes left on the clock). Overall the room could definitely use a facelift to bring it up to speed with some of the more impressive rooms in Melbourne and the GMs could definitely up their hospitality.

Terrifyingly good! Extremely brilliant hidden aspects, the puzzles werenβt very hard, but the atmosphere was intense. Very good room
