25 escape rooms
While there are loads of high-tech, narrative driven experiences these days, sometimes you just want to be locked* in a room and solve a bunch of puzzles. If that's what you're after, this is the room for you. *Not actually locked in
Gameplay
Good solid puzzles and lots of them. We did manage to confuse ourselves by doing a few things out of order but straightened it out with a few hints
Atmosphere
The low-tech nature helps contribute to the Victorian vibe, and there's some lovely furniture
Customer service
Mark very clearly enjoys game mastering, and the hints were useful without making things too easy. The stats sheet at the end is one of my favourite parts of any escape room
Particularly interesting or different
No
It's a single room with lots of padlocks and a relatively common theme, but it is well-executed
Story
In true Holmesian fashion you're solving a crime but it's really just a basic framework for a bunch of puzzles

Good mix of logical thinking, creative thinking, and searching
