169 escape rooms
Between tech malfunctioning and the nonexistent flow of puzzles, this room was a disappointment. I vaguely recall playing this room years ago and finding it disappointing. Now, with another 50 rooms under my belt, I thought it was worth returning to see if my experience helped in enjoying the room — it did not. So many of the puzzles didn’t make sense without waiting for the clue to come through the radio. There was an ambitious amount of tech, as with a chunk of Strike escape rooms, but the execution was so, so poor. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone, ever. Go across the road to Eclipse, Fox in a Box, Lost Locks or Padlock’d.
Some puzzles were interesting or used unique components, however they mostly didn’t flow or make sense without waiting for a clue from the room — this is something I can confidently say after playing nearly 60 rooms. It didn’t work.
Atmosphere was good in parts.
No GM, when I asked for a hint from front desk they had to refer to a binder and that took time in itself.
