Enchambered's "The Skull Witch" is an elite, world-class escape room experience. It excels in every category: it tells a moving story, presents challenging and fair mechanical puzzles and tech, and immerses you completely in its exquisitely detailed world. It’s perfect for players who want to be transported, who love the feel of a physical puzzle in their hands, and who believe that the finest clues are often hidden in plain sight.

The setting and props were very well done and the hosts were friendly. But there wasn’t much story and the puzzles were very random and hard to understand how they connected. Some information we discovered was not clear in where to use it or it wasn’t clear that it was incomplete information.

Great visuals and set design! Loved how the whole place was designed from the entrance to the end. The room itself was fun but tough! Had good moments but the main frustration was how long it took to reset or wait on certain puzzles if you got them wrong and two puzzles where you had to use something twice which we weren't warned about. Overall good room

I rate this room a 5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). Set and theme - easy 2 points! This room was eye candy for any escape room aficionado! Great use of space, you'll be going up, down, all around! Lots to see and lots of hidden clues. Great tech throughout the room and in the puzzles, which get another 2 points. The puzzles were awesome! Quite a few novel ones I hadn't seen before. I loved the hint system. It was always there for you and updated in a timely manner so you knew the GM was following where you were at all times. The 'timer' in the room was pretty cool as well - very immersive! I would give my enjoyment another 2 points (my scale only goes to 5 so this room definitely went above and beyond!). The GM said this room has only a 10% escape rate so quite the challenge. We had 4 in our group and escaped with 5 minutes to go. We definitely had to all be working at different puzzles simultaneously in order to finish which can be a negative since not everyone gets to experience solving each puzzle. In addition, there's a lot of papers with hints in this room. I'm not that thrilled when I see a bunch of papers and if you find one that helps the other part of your team but you don't know that since you're working on your own stuff, it gets confusing! So, good communication with each other on what you find would be helpful in this room. Also, I would definitely recommend using the hint system early on so you can experience the whole room. It's πŸ’―% worth it!

Amazing room that expands and really opens up! There were really good puzzles that were a good challenge even for experienced players. It was complex (in a good way), well-designed, and and mix of high tech and gen 1 locks. Non linear.

* Beautifully done set and a great use of space. Enchambered is always a standout in its set design, and this game is no exception. * Enchambered was one of the first high quality escape room companies I played almost a decade ago, and they will always have a special place in my escape room journey. * We did have technical problems with two or three puzzles (with lights) that caused us to temporarily bottleneck (perhaps the Skull Witch trying curse us?). Those were resolved after a few minutes on each one. * The game features numerous combination locks and it’s often not clear what numbers go with what lock. We asked afterwards if there was a way to know, and we were told (with the exception of two locks) that you just have to try each one. * There was also one combination where we couldn’t see the code that gave us final number because it was only partially visible from the crawl space. Our GM said he is frequently asked how to see that number, but he said it’s not possible and you just have to try and enter all the numbers on the lock until you come upon the correct one. From the design of the room, it looks like at one time there might have been a way to open or peer through a different door and see the number, but it is no longer accessible.
