Honestly, I'm genuinely surprised we escaped 🤣 literally down to the last second it felt! Some nice, unique puzzles. I do agree there felt like a little lack of direction with not knowing when stuff would be needed, but the hint system didn't hesitate to help. I do feel like the hint system was a little buggy, giving us hints for puzzles we had already completed. Overall, though, the room was very good and very atmospheric and on theme. A little more spooky than I typically care for, but I would still recommend it!

Stairs and a crawling space
Unsure if it could be modified, but there are at least two spots you need to hear on. Stairs and crawling, but other people could do those spots, one puzzle is crawl but several are up the stairs. Low-light throughout. Colors are important.

Great atmosphere throughout the game! The puzzles were really well done and had a good combo of things that weren’t just locks. The only thing that made this game a bit harder is that it was hard to figure out what should be done with things and clues you find and in what order they will be needed. I actually liked it though as it made the entire game another puzzle in a way. We were on the last puzzle and just ran out of time. Needed about 1 more minute, almost had it.

Awesome room with good theming, great non linear puzzles, fairly high difficulty but good game mastering got us through the room in the nick of time. Would recommend

Stairs will be a problem for mobility issues, room is fairly dark but lanterns are provided, some puzzles are fairly high. Some color as well

One of the best decorated rooms I’ve done yet. Such a great atmosphere. Many puzzles to do that need to be spread out amongst the group. Our group of 4 barely escaped with 2 seconds left. When booking it’s described as challenging and that’s not a lie. They really scratch at your brain and test your memory and reaction speed. The puzzles themselves I can describe as time consuming. The actions you do in order to progress rely on your reaction speeds. There were multiple rooms to open which kept the game suspense up and not boring. Worker was chill and I can’t wait to try the other rooms.

Too hard for four people. Too many puzzles. You have 6.5 min on average to solve each puzzle to escape

One of the most memorable rooms I have done . Excellent theme, props, and atmosphere. Puzzles were engaging and the story was captivating.
This was an amazing experience. Very immersive, puzzles and props helped with the atmosphere and the flow of rhetoric story.
Awesome atmosphere. Every room and puzzle helped to add to the experience and made sense for the story. Unique way of telling the escape artists how much time they have left to complete the task.
Staff was very helpful and informative. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the rooms.

Some puzzles required at least two participants to complete and the mechanism for tracking time was unique
One of my favorite rooms . Been chasing this rabbit since playing.

Multiple rooms and puzzles are not always linear. You will benefit from having people working on various puzzles at the same time.

Premise is you are in a cabin of a reclusive witch in the swamp lands. Lots of spooky sounds and atmosphere in some areas are dimly lit.

Overall an amazing room with lots to do for a group of 4-6 people. Difficult due to there being different rooms and activities that involve lots of communication, but very exciting.

We met and talked with one of the owners, Colleen. Her and her staff are very friendly. Our GM, Katie, was fantastic. We loved the decor and feel of the two lobbies. As for the game, the recommended minimum is three players. It was just two of us and we didn’t even come close to finishing. There are A LOT of puzzles, or at least it seemed that way. The difficult part of the games at Enchambered is that not only are they non-linear (which we are fine with), but players find pieces of puzzles way before you can use them. Therefore you spend a lot of time on puzzles you don’t have all the info for, but you think you do. It can be very frustrating. We were told that this room only has a 10% success rate. Had we known the success rate ahead of time, we may not have chosen to play this one. Admittedly, we aren’t the best players (we’ll never be on a leaderboard) so we like rooms where there’s at least a 70% success rate. We feel that it would be better to make this a 75 or 90 minute game so that most people can finish. After all, everyone wants to finish the games they play. All that said, we did enjoy many of the puzzles. We just wished the things you needed for each puzzle was gate-kept better. Also, there is a lot of searching in the games at Enchambered. Heavy searching in a beginner room is fine, but in a harder room that is dark can be frustrating for those of us who are there for the puzzles. We had to get multiple hints on where items were hiding. The set design was great. They put some time into creating these rooms and it shows. Bottom line, this game was a mixed bag for us.
“Few games open as strongly as The Legend of the Skull Witch.“
