Older room, no hi-tech locks or anything. It was one room, and pretty linear. It was fun though and a great room for beginners. One note: the location does NOT have a bathroom, you have to use the public restrooms down the street a block away, so make sure to go before you arrive! 😅

I’d recommend this room for people new to escape rooms or anyone looking for a casual experience. It was decorated well and low-tech without feeling cheap. The puzzles are fairly simple but there were a handful of red herrings that cost us quite a bit of time. I think that the fun decoration carries this room pretty far!
The gameplay was cute! I was a little frustrated by the amount of red herrings. A couple types of puzzles were reused multiple times through the room but it didn’t feel “boring” anywhere. They offer unlimited hints but you have to ask for them each time, so we had a few moments where we forgot we could ask for help. Not their fault though 😆
The room was decorated very nicely though quite dimly lit! But since they let you bring your phone into the room we were able to just use our cellphone flashlights :) There were also curtains over the windows and we thought we weren’t allowed to open them which meant
The staff were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful and happy to answer questions.

I feel like I had seen every puzzle element in the room elsewhere before, but it was still fun & worth it for the price!
The puzzles were definitely all pirate-themed, but in a 5-player group it was hard to keep track of any linear plot, if there was one.
Medium
My group was comprised of varying skill level and it felt like there was something for everyone to do the whole time.

Minimal bending/reaching. I use a mobility aid and it was very comfortable for me.
Room is nice and wide-open and tables are all low enough to be considered wheelchair-friendly.

Easy
Plenty of street parking if the lots on either side are full. The area is nice & walkable so you could park anywhere within a couple blocks and still get there easily.

This game was fun and is great for people new to escape rooms. If you’re looking for super high tech, this is not for you. But this is perfect for small town tourist fun!

This one room game is what you might expect from a small tourist town escape room. The set, decor and puzzle were all just okay. I don’t remember what the storyline was. It had a few neat things but overall was a meh for us. Our GM was very friendly.

A mediocre generation one game! Not a lot of tech, very beginning locks but simple puzzles

If you’re visiting the small town of cannon beach, you should definitely book these rooms! For the price point, they were SO fun! We had two adults and two small kids and we were able to beat this room. It was just challenging enough without completely stumping us.
Fun storyline with lots of puzzles to keep you busy! A couple unique ones I hadn’t seen before.
This room is at a lower price point in a smaller beach town and you definitely feel that with the lobby and sets but they still find a way to keep it immersive and fun! The rooms were absolutely freezing though.
Our host was so fun! We did back to back rooms and he did great with hosting us both times.
This room was mostly mechanical but had a fun “high tech” puzzle as well.
