Our GM Logan was great! Sent messages to us based on the jokes we were making, which I personally love and don’t think it breaks immersion. Game pieces didn’t feel too worn or gross. Leaps in logic that seems to be common for escapology.
Gameplay
Basic theme, nothing too new or ordinary. Some leaps in the logic, game pieces could have led to multiple solutions and no clear reasoning as to why. I had fun though!
Boring set, only cool thing was a painting on the wall with eyes that moved.
Our game guide, Logan, was so funny. Sent little messages based on the jokes my group made. Made it feel personal!
Particularly interesting or different
No
Don’t remember the murderer, it fell flat as a story
Two people with a lot of escape room experience got out with over 15 minutes left. Pretty easy, only needed one clue.
Small room, be wary. Minimum is two for this game though! 3-4 probably, but 2 only is great for those with escape room experience!
Had to push things open that were probably supposed to pop open.
Physically active
Somewhat
One puzzle involved running but with more than two people not physically active at all.
Accessibility
Final room probably too small for those with mobility aids. Color based puzzle. Sound based clue. Lower lighting.
Easy to find and plenty of parking, but can’t find by walking around.
2 parking lots nearby and street parking available.
