Super small room but really fun and the puzzles and clues were fun to figure out ! Two of us did it while our friend was alone in the other room which was much harder for one person !

A secret organization known as The Enigma Group has called upon Back In Time for help! The lead investigator at The Enigma Group, Agent Smith, went missing back in 2010. He was investigating a series of crimes apparently perpetrated by an individual who calls himself "The Proctor". This person has been known to test individuals in strange and often deadly ways. After over a decade, the search for Agent Smith has gone cold. Desperate for help, The Enigma Group has reached out to Back In Time to send a team back to Agent Smith's office to see if they can determine the fate of Agent Smith and shed some light on this case. You and your team must try to gather any information that may help in putting the case of Agent Smith to rest...one way or another. But be warned! The Proctor is sure to try and test your team's skills... and failure could be fatal! Do you have what it takes to match wits with a master criminal and determine the fate or Agent Smith? Sign up for this mission and find out!

Having played the previous iteration of this room, we went into this one weary of just how different it would be. Thankfully, the promise of new puzzles was not just smoke but the foundation for one of my favorite Back in Time rooms. Not only do you start separate in this new version but you STAY separated. The room is hard because it’s all about communication and all you have is a screen of your partner(s) and a walkie talkie. That was the most frustrating part of the room - the puzzles were really fun to solve, it was just the walkie cutting in and out that became a nuisance. The room worked best when both parties were involved in solving something, though toward the end that thread becomes untethered and one room may solve things while the other one suffers. Way different from the first version and more true to the concept, Special Ops feels like a new twist on the classic split-room idea.

This was a fun room that splits your party into two separate rooms. What I really liked, though, is that you can always see the video of your friends in the other room and you can always talk to them. So that made it still feel like you’re playing together. Overall, I liked the puzzles and thought it was a fun room! I’d rate it Easy - Medium for experienced players. Would recommend though. I really am not sure why this room requires 4 people. I think this would have been a great 2-person room! I wish they would have offered that option.

Fun to split the group and interact with the other room.
Nothing special, you’re just in a very small room the whole time.
Our GM, Ashley, was great!
A little unique in that it splits the group.
Nothing special.

Lots of combo locks.

They say it requires 4 people, but I’m not sure why. You could totally do this room with 2 people, and in fact I think it would be really fun that way! Any more than 4 people would have felt too crowded too.

Two of us completed the room with plenty of time to spare. The storyline was great and each clue led us to the next. Would definitely recommend for a small group.

It was a fun room, not as elaborate as their other ones but we did get stumped a couple of times so it really made us think.

I think this is Back in Time's weakest game. Not to say it's bad, but there are better games at this location.

One of the better special agent games we’ve played. The set is basic, but puzzles are great!

I really loved this game and story! It’s more on the difficult side but SO fun. Would highly recommend this game and all the others!

This was the 6th escape room my girlfriend and I did. Out of the 6 this was out 4th one solo and it was definitely more difficult than the others we faced. We spent the first 10 minutes of the room just trying to figure out where to start. We had to use more hints than we normally needed to. And even when we did get hints you have to pay close attention to how the hints are worded.
Gameplay was fun but difficult
Some of the props were wild but good overall

I’ve done 5 escape rooms before and this was definitely more difficult than the others

Mostly locks. But getting the solutions to the locks involved a bit of high tech elements.
