After a group of miners go missing in an uncharted cavern you and your team are sent in on a basic search and rescue mission. Once you reach the ground floor, you quickly realize there is nothing basic about this mission at all. There is something sinister lurking in the murky depths, a predator...and you are the prey.

The first room was really cool. Felt like you were actually in an elevator going down underground. The room overall was fairly easy. We got through super fast. It’s on the higher end of price based on other rooms we’ve done, but got through very quickly. It seemed like there weren’t enough puzzles overall. The theming and story was good, but didn’t quite live up to it. 3 of us did the room. 2 of us have done over 30, but the other had only done two previously.

Overall, this is our favorite game at The Escape Company and Savannah in general… though It does have a few issues. There is broken tech in the beginning that has been supplanted by a 4 digit lockbox, but the tech element was left as “decor” which makes for confusion when you try to enter the code into it (we also ran into this same issue in another one of The Escape Company’s rooms). We had one other tech failure but the gamemaster saw after a few minutes and told us how to reset it. The decor of the room is solid. The room also has a fun, immersive beginning and end, though the end comes much quicker than we would have hoped… our team of 2 was not rushing by any means and we finished the experience in <29 minutes (even with the few minutes lost to the tech failure). Still, if you’re a team of 2 in Savannah and want to play a game, this is the one I would recommend.

Made for a confusing start as the broken tech is still in the room but supplanted by a 4 digit lockbox.. big red herring
