Pirates rule the shimmering waters of the Caribbean, and you and your scrappy crew are some of the best of the best. You'll sail anywhere; no ghost story or old legend is enough to scare you away from a chance at glory and gold. Your endless search for treasure has brought you to Dead Man's Cove, a place that many pirates claim lies between the worlds of the living and the dead. You've heard that an ethereal enemy lurks its murky waters, but there's no reward without a little risk...

Excellent pirate-themed room with a mix of physical locks and tech. Strong on story that was fun to play through and would work well for players of all skill levels. We loved our GM, Marie, who was friendly and helpful throughout!

Escape Hour Austin has some solid rooms, but Dead Man's Cove is a hidden treasure. We've played a lot of good pirate rooms and this is better than almost all of them. The set, the props, the theatrics, and the puzzles all make you feel like you're in a pirate movie.

Really fun pirate room, with lots of pirate-themed puzzles. Unlike many rooms (at other locations) that feel like they have a themed set, but generic puzzles, the puzzles in this room are all very appropriate to the pirate theme.

Escape Hour always delivers on professional escape rooms with clever puzzles and immersive experiences. This room delivered on both as expected. While this room was significantly easier than most rooms weβve completed, we still had a great time! I highly recommend going in with no more than 4 people if you want to fully experience the puzzles. Highly recommend.

Very fun pirate room, wish I had more time to do some of the others. Guess I'll just have to come back. Little bit of search and find kept us from really getting started, but after that we crushed it.

So immersive and the theatrics were so unique! Best room at escape hour Austin by far!!! Puzzles were logical and the flow was obvious and effortless. Very pirate-y! Enough wow moments, tech and immersion to deserve the "loved"

This game had a very linear feel which led us to do one thing at a time. For a pirate game it was ok. Pirate games are hard to build out. There is a novel and unique idea inside the room which was fun but lost its novelty at the end when it didnβt work correctly. The GM didnβt keep track of us and was speaking up when we were struggling which was okay I guess but she was speaking up and telling us to do something we had already completed until she realized it. Other than that it was a fun game for a pirate game.

Very solid room, but it does feel slightly dated. The projector in the room desperately needs to be updated though because the quality was something from the last century. Aside from the visuals, I don't really have any complaints though I wouldn't say that it super impressed either. All the puzzles were good. Absolutely loved the gamemaster/hint system. The parrot was just so much fun.
βThe flow of the room was great ... This is by far one of our favorite pirate rooms so far. β
