A wonderful linear room! A tad bit spooky but still an amazing room !!

Probably the weakest game at Quest Tavern, but not to say it bad! This was a fun enjoyable split start, definitely on the easier side. Decor is pretty standard, puzzles aren’t groundbreaking, one spooky moment but nothing too bad. Play all three here! 😀 Escaped in 36 minutes with one hint as a group of four.

i would say that this wasn’t a bad room, it’s just that me and my group have done so many that it was just too easy for us. i liked the atmosphere and the puzzles were okay. there was only one puzzle that i have never seen a variant of before. i think this would be a great room for people who are brand new or still relatively new for escape rooms. but with how experienced we are, it just felt mediocre and nothing was particularly new or exciting.

I'd been wanting to check out Quest Tavern for a while and it didn't disappoint. I believe Witch's Cauldron is one of their earlier rooms, and it does feel a little straightforward, but the atmosphere was well done and the story was fun. Most of the puzzles were simple enough, but there were a handful that stumped us. (If this is their easy room, I can't imagine what their hard one is like!) Still, we managed to escape with a group of three, and all of us had fun, so I call that a success. Really looking forward to coming back and checking out their other two rooms, perhaps with a slightly bigger group.

Great escape room. The puzzles were fun to solve and the theme ties to the story very well. Our game master Diego made our experience much more enjoyable.

We enjoyed the experience and it was a fun game from the beginning. We were challenged but we managed to escape with a little time left. In case you were wondering, it is non linear and no live actor. The set up was great and the room had a good atmosphere. Our game master Diego was awesome from his welcoming, game clues, and all around personality. Highly recommend the place and game.

This room was pretty interesting! The puzzles were pretty linear and there were a couple that we were over thinking…but overall the puzzles were pretty good! They’re simple if you don’t overthink them. I enjoyed this room and had a fun time playing it!

puzzles weren’t too hard though we got stumped on a few 😅 there’s lots of stuff to do and rooms were well decorated. super fun!

This room is beginning to show its age, but it still is worth a play! While a split start makes for an interesting beginning and certain puzzles make clever use of space, the game feels a little more basic in its approach to puzzles. It’s far better than many Gen 2 rooms, as it uses unique props to trigger solves and some puzzles require using communication or your nose to find solutions. That said, other parts of the set feel less bespoke and more Spirit Halloween, and the doors in this witch’s cottage are merely standard doors or have key pads, which feel anachronistic and out-of-place. If you’re playing the other games at Quest Tavern, you may as well start with this one to see how far they’ve come!

Overall a great room, very well put together. The beginning was a fun twist for our group that we hadn't dealt with before that made it fun. Puzzles were mostly straightforward with a few exceptions, highly recommend for all groups!
“The puzzles were simple and logical, and the game flowed quite nicely overall.“
