The dinner host, Lord Garrick, was a former adventurer and during one of his excursions, he took a relic from a ritual sight not knowing that it was part of something sealing the demon lord gluttony away from the mortal realm. Upon breaking the seal the weakened demon lord possessed the adventurer and returned to his home where he now spends his days luring people to his home to kill and devour them in hopes of regaining his former strength to take over the world.

Wow! What to say that hasn’t been said already? This was a truly unique, fun and stressfull experience! This is an escape room, but at the same time, it’s different from all other escape rooms. The interaction with the actor is not just there to serve the story, but is actually needed to get further in the game. To fully enjoy this game, you’ll need to go with the flow, and play the role of the dinner guests as best as you can. The actor did a truly awesome job at answering us, throwing funny comebacks at us, and all while staying completely in character. The puzzles in the room are fun, but they are not the reason to play this game. They are there for you to have something to do while being stressed out about when the next interaction will be. If you are ok with an intense experience, and you’re ok with having to actively engage with an actor, you should really consider going to play this room! It was also extremely fun for me to have to use my juggling skills to bring the game further ahead. I never thought that would happen in an escape room!

I just did The Last Supper here at Quest Tavern. I had high hopes - I have heard a lot about this escape room and I was looking forward to it. However, The Last Supper is not an escape room. It’s immersive theater with about 6 puzzles. I could over look the issues I had in this room if it was advertised as an escape room, but what I cannot overlook is that at the end of the “room” there was such a violent part that my friend got hurt and their glasses were damaged. There is a long introduction to the room which the game master says “the actor will not be violent to you, please don’t be violent to us”. However, the actor throws themselves into the door and my friends and I needed at least two people to hold this door shut and my friend ended up getting hurt. It was not just throwing themselves into the door once or twice, it was repeatedly throughout a section. I love escape rooms, I’ve done many, but I cannot endorse an Escape room that you get hurt in and then the staff does minimal to help or attempt to take accountability.

One of our teammates got injured during this escape room. The live actor slammed open a door into their face. They also admitted to delaying our escape via the live actor. I would classify this room as more of immersive theater with a hint of puzzles. I cannot with good conscience recommend this room unless the section where this happened is revamped to be safer. I want to clarify that our group are all adults and I could not imagine anyone under the age of 20 being safe in this room.

Utterly delectable! This is one of the best escape room experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life! The puzzles are light appetizers, and still manage to be clever, but the main entree is the live actor, Lord Garrick! The actor (ours was Julian) was simply superb! Not only was he a great actor who struck fear into our hearts, but he improvised with our unique sense of humor extremely well. One very unique part will always be memorable to me, and will probably be what I bring up when I say how awesome escape rooms with live actors can be! I can’t stop thinking about the thrill I had in this room, and the heart-pumping finale! If you’re scared, I will say that no one in my group likes scary rooms, but we braved it out for Last Supper, and it was 200% worth it. It’s really more “spooky” than “scary” and the live actor is never actually out to touch you or hurt you. The jump scares, even though I don’t like them in any room, were actually well done, and that’s saying a lot for me! I highly recommend EVERY fan of escape rooms and immersive theater to put this delicious escape room into their menu!

This is a must-do room. Let me start this review by sharing that there is a live actor. The live actor is critical to your game play. We had a group of 8, and we came in looking to see how much fun we can have with Lord Garrick. Our Lord Garrick was able to roll with how silly we were. Because of the live actor, I would say that this room is lighter on the puzzles. The time does start with the live actor there, so just be on the lookout for that. As for the storyline, it flowed well. I am happy to report that Quest Tavern's reputation is well-founded! We had a group of 8, and had a blast but the second room is a little small. I would recommend not everyone going in there if you have a big group.

Loved this room! 10/10 experience. The premise created tension from the beginning and rode through the entire experience. There is a live actor and he was amazing! This is more of a spooky vibe instead of a horror theme. Puzzles were in the simpler side but we used hints (which are unlimited).

10/10. Seriously, YOU HAVE TO DO THIS ROOM. The Last Supper has just become my top 2nd or 3rd room (out of 100ish). Immersion, acting and interaction were all top notch. Production value was also incredible. Unique story with some great puzzles. You can tell these people really care about escape rooms and are passionate. MUST DO! This is one of those “worth the drive” games.
