One of my favorite rooms ever! Creepy and so immersive with great special effects

This game is ok. It’s worn down. Slightly scary. A little finicky but overall decent. Some jumps in logic and our game master really dulled the experience by being dull too. Compared to the pidgeon forge location, the service is way better compared to the mediocrity we got in Gatlinburg.

This was a fun room. There were a couple spots that got a little tricky. We were down to just a few minutes left and only a couple more puzzles. The GM gave a much needed nudge right at the end. There is 1 puzzle that if you are not looking around the entire room I don’t believe you would see it.

This was a fun one that we did multiple times with different sets of friends. It’s low on the scary factor, more mental than jump scares.

LOVED this room. Probable one of the easier rooms at Gatlins. We only really needed a quick nudge in 1 or 2 spots. Good, creepy fun. Lots of fun tech and surprises!
EVERYTHING made sense. It all relates to the story which drives the experience.
Good, creepy atmosphere without being "scary".
Staff is always amazing. Our GM was great and played along with the story well. He was attentive to our game the entire time.

Story is well thought out and executed. Very immersive.

I think, of the 5 rooms at Gatlins in the Gatlinburg location, this is the easier of them.
High tech
There was 1 traditional lock in the game and it was a door lock and it made sense! Fantastic!

We played with 4 adults and 1 child and that was plenty. Any more than that and you will be cramped. There's some small spaces and tight rooms.
Spooky
There's one or two small jump scares, but nothing that you can't handle. Its not like a haunted house, but more creepy than anything.

It IS a bit creepy, but our 9 year old did fine.

There is some crawling through a small tunnel. But not EVERYONE has to go that way. Just one person.
There is a color puzzle but they do provide a written description of the colors in the diary.

Parking sucks ANYWHERE in Gatlinburg. Just arrive early and shell out the 20 bucks for one of the scoundrels downtown offering up parking spots. No fault of Gatlins.

One thing I will mention is that this is the same game as one in Myrtle Beach. We mentioned it immediately upon entering the room and the GM denied it so we played the game. We would have preferred to change to a different room as this wasn’t one of our favorites. Not a bad room but we just weren’t fans.
The room itself is well done. A couple of key locks but everything else is high tech.
Our GM was friendly enough but I am not a fan of nudges. I usually state this going into the room and forgot to this time. The GM constantly gave nudges. If we were close to finishing a puzzle, they would jump in and let us know how to finish. That is annoying and made the whole experience pretty bad.

Parking was across the street and it was paid.

Spooky season is upon us!! What a perfect way to enjoy the fall/ Halloween season. This room is not a horror room or a haunted house but an immersive amazing game with creepy touches that feel like going through a haunted house without the live actors. The ambient lighting and sounds of this room really send chills down your spine!
Loads of puzzles and theming in one of the smaller games of this Location. It's amazing how souch is packed into the space provided.
I felt like I stepped into and old mansion
My GM "left" and was never heard from again..... or were they

Loved the horror twist on children’s toys! Very unique and high-tech puzzles. Incredible special-effects and set design. The lighting was the perfect balance between setting a spooky atmosphere and maintaining good vision. Great game masters. One of my favorite games!
Our game master paid great attention to our game and kept us from going down a rabbit hole when we had the right idea for one of the puzzles

A few key-locks, and the rest is all high-tech!

Two experienced players or 3-4 non-experienced players. Best to split into two groups when able. One puzzle requires two players (or would just be very difficult for one).

Spooky atmosphere, couple jump-scares, creepy ending

Handicap-accessible for groups with at least one able-bodied player. Three color-related puzzles. A couple clues and all communication with the game master are audio-based.

No reserved parking for Gatlin’s. Must park in a public lot and walk/take a trolley to the escape room. We played early in the morning and had no trouble parking in a public lot directly across from the mall where Gatlin’s is located. Cost $20 to park for the whole day.

Gatlin's Escape rooms never disappoint. You cannot go wrong with any of their games. This one is haunting and fun. It's not too scary, but it's perfect for those escape room enthusiast who like a challenge and like a little bit of creepy. I would go out of my way to play this game. Some fun creative puzzles.
