Great room. First time I have seen a live actor so that was cool! Good amount of interesting puzzles, 4-6 people is probably a good team size. It gets a tiny bit spooky in the end through decorations, but no jump scares or anything.

We had a large group and I *loved* there was something for everyone to do, everyone contributed, etc. Also really nice production values and some cool effects, very atmospheric, had a great time!

The game is good, but their other game is definitely better. The staff were overall great. My to main issue with this business and this room in particular was the accessibility. Let’s face it, their set up here is just plain weird. Sooooo many stairs. I get that that’s something they can’t easily fix but I feel like this was just a bad location to pick to build at in the first place.

We really enjoyed this room! It was thematic and the puzzles were well done. We completed it as 2 people successfully with 9.5 minutes to spare!

Overall, a solid escape room. I prefer their other room over this one, but if you’re looking for an escape room I wouldn’t skip over this one! The story was a little under developed. Lots of puzzles to work on, so if you have a bigger team that will help. Mostly non-linear. Some puzzles did not fit completely in the theme but nothing felt so far off that I was taken out of the immersion. Game master was great! Set was good, but nothing mind blowing. Don’t regret going, had a great time!

I absolutely loved this room from start to finish. It felt so well done, with very cool twists and turns, really great room design and a story that captivated us. It’s rare to find a room that has a story that just makes sense and is fun and easy to follow, and this room did that for me. I also love rooms that aren’t all tech, there is a lot of fun in opening locks, especially when it fits the theme like this does. This room was a great mixture of mechanical and tech, but honestly the story is so fun that I was just swept away in it!

We came to Locurio from Canada several months ago and attempted their other room (The Story Keeper). We didn’t make it out and had to leave the next day so we weren’t able to redeem ourselves nor try their other room. So naturally the first escape rooms we booked for our august trip were at Locurio and we decided to try this one first! From the GM, to the set design, this room was fantastic! Every member of our group had something to do at all times and we all agreed that the puzzles were unique and fun! Overall we had a great experience at Locurio and would highly recommend adding this to a list of must-dos!

We had one night in Seattle and made sure it was spent at Locurio. Staff was friendly and accommodating, plus the owner is an active member of the community. The room itself was a beast - we had a group of 3 and we had almost too much to do. We struggled with one particular puzzle that caused us to lose a bit of momentum, but we were happy with how it ended.

Vanishing act was solid, and a game I enjoyed alot, but it did feel just a bit over-hyped. Compared to Storykeeper (Locurio's second room) you can plainly see how their style has evolved and refined itself over time. Vanishing Act had great non-linear puzzling, and some cool and unique puzzles, but was lacking a wow moment that I feel is important, especially in magic rooms (the prestige, if you will). Still, it is absolutely worth the visit if you are in the area, and you'll be sure the enjoy your 70 minutes finding Nox's secret!

First, our GM was wonderful. All the staff are great. We really liked the story. The set design was pretty good (nothing like Storykeeper, though). While we really like many of the puzzles in this game, for a two-person team a few of the puzzles take too much time. We understood and solved the puzzles but it takes time to work through it all. It is suggested to have 6+ players, but I think the room is a bit small for that. I feel the ideal number of players would be four. We needed a few extra minutes and the help of a third person (our GM) to finish. I suggest you only play this with two people if you absolutely cannot find more to join your team. I am very thankful, however, that the owners of Locurio allow two players to play their games. That is fantastic.
