Can you survive a horror film? This murderous horror movie fan wants to watch you try. Each player will take a quiz before the game to determine which character they are: The Nerd, Virgin, Jock, Rebel, Prom Queen, or Detective. Your team will be divided into separate rooms where you must work individually and as a team. Not only do you need to escape, but you must also survive! Who will live? Who will die?

unique idea. people start out in their own individual escape room and need to find way to reach each other to work together and escape. each person on the team needs to pull their own weight in order to suceed. the game is replayable. fairly enough. we failed the first time (had some first time players with us), but returned with a strong team and finished with time to spare the room has a spooky/scary vibe but its not overlty scary like their other room. weeping witch

This is my favorite escape room of all time. The puzzles were great and the theming was so amazing!

Very unique layout to this room. The first time I did this about 5-6 years ago we escaped with plenty of time. This 2nd time, we did not. This room requires everyone to be on their A game, so anyone who can't solve puzzles on their own is going to be a detriment. It's layout also can be moderately high stress. Story is great, and the puzzles across the board are well done. Even their integration is pretty unique to how your escape experience will be. I really want to go back again sometime to try with the group I've been doing escape rooms with again. Edit: escaped the second time with a better group.

If there was ever a room that had replayabilty, this would be it. I really enjoyed the concept of this game. While so much depends on your own ability to solve puzzles, there is a built in team aspect as well. It’s hard to review this room without giving spoilers, so I’ll just say that it was a VERY unique and enjoyable experience that I would like to do again.

5 / 5 Maybe my favorite room I’ve done. Such a fun idea, individual start rooms make for a very unique solve. Must have 6 great escape artists for maximum enjoyment!

We had a great time in The Hex Room. It’s a very immersive room with a horror movie theme, definitely a little creepy but no jump scares. Everyone gets the chance to solve their own puzzles, but they can also get help from the group. Requires good teamwork and communication.
“If you haven't played Hex yet, what are you doing?“
“To offer such a wide variety of puzzles, Cross Roads outdid their market peers.“
“This is unlike any other room I’ve played. It is a must play if you happen to be in the Los Angeles..“
“Players who enjoy horror... will thoroughly enjoy the game that Cross Roads lovingly created.“
“The Hex Room was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.“
