The undead have risen in the heart of Los Angeles where your group, unfortunately, decided to do a simple fun escape room. But now, the government has quarantined your entire surroundings so leaving is no longer an option. Your only chance is to find shelter, barricade yourselves in and get help before “they” get you.

A real sleeper and the best room at this Maze Rooms location. One of the more clever starts to a room that I’ve experienced, and the way the story progresses is fun and highly immersive. Some slight, unrealistic gore, but the room isn’t too scary and as a bonus, it’s full of Easter eggs, especially for Evil Dead/Army of Darkness fans! Worth playing, for sure!

Very fun experience! The puzzles were definitely a challenge for two of us to solve so we asked a fair amount of hints to nudge us along but they all made sense once figured out which is great. The transition into the room was also very impressive! I wouldn’t reccomend the room for beginners but if you’re up for a tough challenge and want to feel immersed into a zombie apocalypse this is the room for you!

Hard disagree with most of the other reviews here. This room was BAD. Nothing was hard, and all of the puzzles were incredibly linear. However, a bad game master and non-sensical logic jumps ruined this game entirely. The only reason this room has a 20% pass rate is the bad puzzle design. There is a puzzle at the end that is especially dumb once the last hatch opens. Our puzzle master also told us nearly ten minutes after we had completed a section of the game that there was one piece just slightly misaligned while we searched for more clues. Big thumbs down.

I loved the theme and puzzles of this room. The set design was middle of the road, and the overall vibe was leaning towards spooky over scary. The puzzles were fun to figure out, they were linear in nature so I wouldn’t suggest teams more than two people (3 max). We experienced no technical difficulties.

I loved the flow of the room and their creativity. The way they utilized high tech and traditional locks worked really well, and it also enhanced the immersion. The puzzles were fun to solve and reasonable. I wished they could add more puzzles to make it longer. There’s only a small amount of not too scary part, so I feel like people whose afraid of zombie could still try it.

Love the way this room is run. I agree when asking for clues they’re a little hard to hear over the sound effects.

My husband and I played. It flowed very well and was pretty easy until we got to 1 single puzzle that just didn’t make sense. And to make matters worse, we couldn’t hear the GM explain the puzzle over the sound effects. We had to ask over and over and over to explain. We were told this puzzle has been changed before. We think it needs to be changed 1 more time. Overall great room!

Very complicated room definitely for experienced players but an overall very clever and well thought out room

This room had a lot of good ideas, and there some in particular that I think needed better explanation in how to use in the room. There was a part where the music was to loud and we had a hard time hearing our GM in a puzzle that wasn’t very well explained to solve the puzzle. So we literally had to ask 7 times to explain it again. Do be weary though that there is a puzzle where the GMs won’t be able to help at all because of the type of puzzle.
