The Perfumer

This is a medium difficulty room with about 2 difficult puzzles. You get to use a lot of your senses here and a nice storyline that is different than most games. Overall a nice experience due to the great storytelling

Excellent room atmosphere design and the staff members were very fun to interact and talk with. The integration of a few smell puzzles was great. My main gripe with the room was with the lighting and the music. The electric candle lights are quite bright to look at, but also hard to use when inspecting or reading items. We started gathering around to cover the candles for each other because they were blinding us from being able to read a clue. The music, which is mostly there for atmosphere, started getting so loud that we could not hear each other and had to yell over the music, or close doors to shut out some of the louder speakers. Overall a good room that I would recommend but I wish they could fix those two things.

This room was great. The atmosphere, the puzzles, the flow (and gamemaster Daniel) made it such a fun experience. Pretty unique and challenging

Ok so apparently the game is based on a movie and not just like generic perfuming so… you’ll find that out pretty early on, but it does mean it has a bit more of a spooky vibe than what I expected. The quality of this room is nuts. You definitely have to be prepared to go like… OUT OF THE BOX for a lot of these puzzles, but that makes it a great time. There was only one puzzle that was a little bit… the clue felt like it didn’t match the solution/was also a little uncomfy? But other than that one puzzle, the rest of the room is really well done with awesome and unique puzzles and experiences!

Interesting room that made you use your sense of smell to figure out some of the puzzles. To be honest it was a bit difficult for my wife and I as we don't have especially great senses of smell. Still fun!

i still think about this room. it will forever be my favorite. waiting for the day that changes

I REALLY wanted to like this room. I think the atmosphere is fantastic, and there are some incredibly unique elements to the game. My group of 4 STRUGGLED through this game. Maybe it was a bad day for us, but we felt that the puzzles were not user friendly and even frustrating. Also, halfway throughout the game, our game master disappeared and stopped giving clues. I understand if the worker was busy, but it was a LONG while before he came back to the microphone, which was incredibly frustrating.

The set design and ambiance are amazing in this room. The story is very unique as well. The puzzles are intricate and seamlessly blend into the story. However, many of the puzzles require technology to work and we encountered a few issues where the technology malfunctioned which caused some confusion.

As the room suggests, it involves smells! Very thematic and the more people you have for the smell portion the better! We had the max of 6. This room was immersive, mechanical, and very well executed. The story revolves around a loved one and their means of coping with loss. The room was novel and harder than most! Would recommend for slightly more experienced players and as always communication is key when you find something to share with the group! Lots of moving around so be ready to explore. There were only two puzzles I had issues with but the rest of the room made up for it.
