This room is delightful and you should do it if you're two people, in the area. It's unique. But manage your expectations—you're in for one of those sessions of "imagine how awesome this *could* be"… With some mechanical iteration, this room would deserve much higher marks. As we experienced it, there was something mechanically wonky with nearly all of the puzzles. There are two excellently voice acted characters. But the audio coming from the character on top, who has a thick accent, is lowpass filtered so much that you're probably going to find a lot of what he says to be unintelligible. And the audio from the other side of the room is just much too quiet. When you're presented with on-screen instructions, they don't stay up indefinitely. And they take time to be "written"—this is very frustrating when you're *almost* done with a task, and then need to wait for the entire list to be written again. All of this reduced immersion significantly—which is a shame, because the great environment, story, puzzles, and voice acting deserve for the rest of the experience to work better. It's possible that Murfreesboro Escape Rooms is reaching a bit beyond what they can execute, here, but it's still a good experience as-is, if you're a seasoned player who has been trained to cope with problems like this. We have hope that this room can become more amazing, and we're especially excited to see what they try next! Jaden, our GM, was very friendly and did an awesome job!

Probably the most unique escape room we’ve done, this room is incredible. It’s small, but great for small groups and all the things are well planned. There are a few frustrating puzzles, but for the most part the room makes sense and flows well. This would be a great room for a date night, it's intimate and small. We really like this room and highly recommend it and Purrrfect Crime for the same reasons.

Finally! An escape room made for 2! I regularly do escape rooms with just my spouse, and the fact that this was made for a date night in mind was a perfect plan for us! The room, while very cute with its theme of Ratatouille-style reopening up an old restaurant and cooking up a delicious feast, had its fair share of problems. An annoying puzzle not friendly to asthmatics didn’t work, so thank you to our kind GM for bypassing it. Some compartment doors also were broken, and we had to pry them open after solving puzzles. There was also some wear and tear to the materials, and you could see wires hanging out. This included being able to see wiring behind our voiced guides Mel and Inspector GarBAJ, which was far and away my favorite part of the room! They were funny, great hint-givers, and led us through the funtivities! Much of it involved reading recipes, but it was still so fun putting plastic ingredients into machines and watch them spit out plastic delicatessens! Wish some of the audio was louder, including the radio that gave us time warnings (it was the only way to tell how much time you had left). This is a lovely experience for couples who want to do escape rooms as dates like us! It’s on the easy side, but I mean… if you are on a date, you may as well have a wonderful time and escape!!

I was so excited for this room based on the story alone and played right when it opened. I was met with what looked like an unfinished set, an unenthusiastic game master who straight up told me the solution to a puzzle before I even got in the room, and puzzles that didn’t flow well and were really boring to complete. Based on other reviews, it might be possible that they were still ironing out some kinks in the game when I played as it had just opened, but considering it was open to the public I was very disappointed. The story is told through two main characters, although I couldn’t hear a word they were saying as it was so quiet. I had no idea what was going on story-wise throughout the entire game and I had no idea what my goal was.

This is a very fun room! The storyline flowed very naturally. It was a great date night!

This room was a great little experience! Absolutely perfect for introducing someone to the escape room hobby, or just a fun relaxing date. Very fun story and theme, and some really great puzzles. Definitely recommended!

Fun little room for a date night or couple of beginners, the story is cute and funny and the set is very whimsical. There are a couple puzzles that the interaction with was poorly implemented or explained and the difficulty of the room overall is very low. It was fun but we left just whelmed

This was a simple, cute room. Excellent for a beginner duo, no more than two people. It’s 100% tech driven, no physical locks at all. The information you need to progress is all provided verbally, so this could be a challenge for players with hearing impairments. I’m not certain if they provide a written version.

I was an alpha tester for this room and even in the earliest versions it played very well. This room is much more advanced than any other room at this location and is heavily story based. It is an easier room meant for beginners and causal date nights, but is a cool room for anyone to play. If you are a very competitive player you may not enjoy this room as much as it is very geared towards beginners. The story and special effects in the room are outstanding though and I highly recommend this room to anyone. The room is very high-tech with no mechanical locks and the puzzles are all on theme. This is my new favorite room at this location.
