Permanently Closed - Alchemy. Astronomy. White Magic. The Order of the Three Keys is the most powerful organization you’ve never heard of- until now. Join their ranks, and investigate the heretical experiments of Edmond Cavanaugh- a man whose actions reverberate though time itself. Your choices will determine what you encounter as you dig deeper into his manor. Powerful elixirs, long-forgotten demons, experiments with the nature of life itself: you may encounter all of these, or something else entirely. But be warned- the Order’s Proctors will oversee your progress. Convince them of your intentions, and they will come to your aid. But stray from the Order’s tenets, and your story may take a different path. The choices, as always, are yours.

A fantastic blend of immersive theater, choose your own adventure and escape room. Probably one of the most ambitious companies I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and I am sad I might not have the chance to visit the Paradox Bar again in the future. This company has really thought of everything. The way that the standard escape room rules are delivered is so clever, I didn’t even realize that was happening until about halfway through the process, and it left me with such a grin. A must play in the New York City market!

Wow. A truly incredible and immersive experience unlike any other escape room I’ve encountered. Multiple paths and endings, wow. Our “proctor” (live actor GM) was awesome. I think we unintentionally went down a villainous route (whoops 👹🦹🏻♂️) called “Limbo” (what did you all get??). After you finish they give you cards with codes that you log online to track your progress. And then there’s a sequel room that plays out based on your previous decisions. Amazing. Can’t wait to play 1917 the next time we are back in town!

This room is incredible. I have never been anywhere with as thoughtful theming, attention to detail, novelty, use of actors, (I could go on). You owe it to yourself to go if you are on this app.

This room is an escape room on steroids. It feels like you’re doing an escape room in a movie. I didn’t understand the room at first. I thought the live actor was an enemy and we weren’t suppose to listen to them, but it’s the opposite. They’re helping you through the room and you should listen to what they say. They’re trying to guide you. Even tho it may seem sinister at first. The puzzles were a lot of fun, and super relevant to the storyline.

The theatre acting was amazing. The branching choices gives it replayability.

When we first planned the trip to NYC, this new-ish room was a maybe on our list. Eventually we agreed to give it a shot just because people were talking about it. We booked the second room almost immediately after completing this one. From the moment you walk into the space, things are designed to get you immersed into the story. The introduction to the game is done so much more creatively than just a standard video and really helps getting into the zone. Lots of places try to do the "different story endings", this is probably the first place where we would play it again. There's two main paths that have separate puzzles to complete - we really enjoyed the one we got. The actor did an incredible job, the use of a narrator enhanced the experience, and offering little "achievements" you could earn throughout the game really got us invested. We'd do it at least once more. Do this room. Then do the second chapter. These are great.

This was an experience right from the moment we finished checking in. The staff here really try their best to get you immersed into the storyline and really paid off as my party and I felt actively engaged in the story. This is one of the few escape rooms that actually have replayability as you can get a different set of puzzles and ending depending on the choices you make. At the end, they also give you some cards as a record of your achievements. My only critique about this room is that one of the "puzzles" is more like a game than a puzzle so that one took us a while to finish.

Maybe the very first game that I really want to go back and play again. The intro, the story possibilities, the atmosphere. Go play, and make bold choices.

Not your typical escape, but a wonderfully immersive and detailed experience. Beautiful sets and storyline with well themed puzzles and fantastic actors. The residents were a magnificent addition to the game. Sophisticated set up from start to end, with theatrical lights, sound, and performance. Well worth the price and we will absolutely return to complete another chapter.
