As expected from the Escape Game, Timeliner had a very solid set. I thought that the train vibes would feel cheesy, but the screens (high definition train windows) were actually very fun to use. You don't really spend a lot of time in each era, but feeling as though you are traveling to a different time period and location with a train ticket was surprisingly enjoyable. The room was very easy, but I generally recommend The Escape Game chain to newer players as a way to get them into the hobby. Even without rushing the room, my group had plenty of time left. As someone who has done other Escape Game rooms, I think that this one is better than Special Ops or Prison Break, but Depths and Playground are stronger rooms. I definitely did not regret driving out to the San Bernardino location so that I could get the opportunity to play it.

The room was super fun, the puzzles were pretty high tech and flowed well in the game. There were some fun elements, definitely my favorite escape game room so far!!

Phenomenal room… BUT. OK, the room itself is amazing. Super seamless and fun puzzle flow. Amazing tech. Everything felt sleek and professional. Clever concept. Excellent storytelling. But here’s the big BUT. Eight people is too many people for this room. There were several puzzles that we couldn’t even see, let alone participate in, because we physically couldn’t get around each other in the tiny, tiny space of this room. Basically we would sit out certain puzzles and then wait for the action to come to our side of the room. We still had a super fun time, but the cramped nature of the space definitely had an impact on the experience. Then obviously the other hot topic is the fact that it’s a public room. Because this location is in an incredibly high trafficked retail area, you can count on your game filling up to the maximum capacity, as ours did. Personally, I’m not a fan of public rooms. This is a hot topic in the Escape Room community. I understand that companies need to make money, and I’m all for that, but it doesn’t change the fact that in my opinion it lowers the quality of the experience a little bit. That said, our group was great and we had a ton of fun. I just think we would’ve had MORE fun if it was just me and my partner. Regardless, Timeliner is a fantastic room And a great representation of what Escape Rooms can be.

I have a hard time giving a “love” to rooms of corporate and franchise escape room businesses, but we had a blast in this room. We decided to go to the earliest game to lessen the chances of playing with strangers (another reason I’m reluctant to give the “love” rating). There was one ball puzzle that I didn’t care for, but the theme, set design, and puzzles were all fantastic. This particular game is only at a few TEG locations. If you get a chance to play it, do it.

Very tech heavy room with lots to do. Go late at night or early in the morning so you don’t have to deal with stranger danger.

Had a great time doing this room! Took us a long time to figure out the first clue but we just barely made it through it all! Be ready to stick you hands in random places, lol

Very fun time travel room with clever puzzles, great decor, and consistent theming.

Timeline. Her would’ve been my favorite at the escape game if it wasn’t for this darn ball puzzle. That puzzle was about as annoying as I’ve ever had a puzzle be, and even the GM said it’s a very difficult chance driven puzzle. The rest of the room was fantastic. The concept is great the way everything works, and the amount of tech in the room was beautiful. This is another must play a game at the escape game if you decide to book there.

Very very cool and fun production. I’d say tied for 2nd favorite with The Depths of the 6 we have done with Escape Game!
