: In order to survive this mission, The Director needs the bravest Operatives that can investigate and search a scene with minimal to no lighting all while avoiding an unknown paranormal entity. Our HR Team does not recommend this for Operatives with a fear of the dark, small enclosed spaces, solitary confinement, loud noises, paranormal themes, and/or fear of schools. Summon the dormant entity so you can confront it once and for all. Better The Bureau than an unsuspecting victim.

Atmospheric, thoughtfully designed and genuinely spooky. One of the most creative haunted escape room experiences I’ve ever played. This is especially true due to the interesting inclusion and use of worn tech, that (without spoiling anything) not only cleverly enhances the theme, but also really personalizes the mood and scares for everyone. I would describe the scare factor as “accessibly spooky”. This isn’t super scary or frightening, but it’s really good for those who want a few scares that can’t handle intense haunted attractions. It’s 70% psychological/atmosphere and 30% actual frights. The scares are guaranteed to make anyone in your party yelp! From a layout/design standpoint, it’s actually rather simple. The set design, coupled with being mostly in darkness, and the use of a shared light source in a haunted environment just really gives perfect heeby jeeby vibes like something is always lurking around the corner. I mean it when I say the atmosphere is impeccably unnerving in how genuinely realistic and cursed it feels. You’re even smacked with the scent and feeling of a warm, musky building that’s been sitting abandoned for a while as you enter (which is actually part of the story). The attention to detail here is really just great. Puzzles and the clue system are also wonderfully on theme, with everything fitting the tone, and the puzzle logic not being really obtuse or unintuitive. Each puzzle escalates the stakes and naturally builds the intensity of the story. We got through this with almost 20 minutes to spare, which might be my only peeve because I wish it was longer with just how great it was (we were absolutely taking our time not rushing/soaking in everything in too). We are, also, seasoned vets at this point so you might not get through it as quickly as we did if you’re more of a casual player. If you’re looking for something different, it’s really a fun spooky time 👻

This was my favorite game at The Bureau, mostly because (unlike their other games) nothing felt wacky or broken. It might not be as technically impressive, but it actually felt solid.

Great overall experience. This is completely in the dark so it added an extra challenge. I enjoyed the supernatural and overall play of this game

Another fun room from the Bureau. There is some surprising/unexpected tech, as is their style. We were warned that the room was a little more linear than their others. I also think there were some easier (and maybe accidental) misdirections that we overthought. That said, great atmosphere, fun puzzles, and an interesting story. Well done and looking forward to the next room, which is apparently already in the works. Also, shout-out to the entire staff, who nerded out with us about escape rooms for an hour before and after this game. They truly love this job and are happy. All game masters deserve to be happy.

My group had a lot of fun and finished with 18 minutes to spare! Definitely recommend for people who enjoy spooky elements but don’t necessarily want the absolute crap scared out of them. Love that it involved school and children, added to the spooky element for sure. The puzzles were cool and TOO technical where we couldn’t figure it out.

An honestly spooky game, which is rare in the escape room sphere. Jump scares and unsettling lore are abundant. I loved the limited light sources and audio cues. I wish there were slightly tougher puzzles, but a fun experience nonetheless. I’ll say if demons, spooky little kids, spiders and possessions aren’t your thing, maybe skip this one.

The environment really takes the cake with this one! The room was impeccably decorated with spooky sounds and props to enhance the ambiance. Everything down to what puzzles they used were part of the theme, which I loved.
