One of my absolute favourites here in Boston! A very common theme (heist) but RedFox elevates it with their incredible set design, varied puzzles (including one I hadnβt seen before), and well-flowing room. Only complaint is when we went, one of the puzzles had been written/marked in a way that made us think that was part of the puzzle and we spent 5 or 6 mins just trying to solve it using the markings. Only to find out that the markings were from past guests and meant nothing. But otherwise, a really fun room! We went as a group of two and found it very doable but a lot of the puzzles are more independent and can be solved simultaneously so may be easier with a bigger group.

This room really makes you feel like youβre in a heist movie! Some very unique elements and loved the incorporation of art and puzzles. Several cool surprise moments. Would definitely recommend for all.

Excellent props and build quality, great sequence with a novel first act. Beginner friendly while still having plenty to chew on for more experienced puzzlers, along with a great variety of puzzles testing different skills.

This was my favorite game at this location. The flow was fantastic and the puzzles were all my favorite types of puzzles. This room felt like it was designed with me in mind!

What a fun layout and experience. Always something to work on and very cleverly done all around.

A very fun and well put together heist room. I loved how the gameplay (puzzles) flowed with having many βchoose you own adventureβ part and some linear parts. The set, while simplistic in some places was well dressed and lit providing a believable museum/art gallery Where I think this game suffers is in a logistical story narrative. My least favorite thing in escape rooms is when the reason for a puzzle existing is βbecause escape roomβ. For example, at the start of the game you are told you must prepare for the heist by gathering tools in your hideout. An interesting premise but after some thought I immediately asked myself, βwhy canβt we (the thieves) access our own tools from the get-go.β Feeling as though the puzzles in place to get these tools were placed to add bulk in the puzzle department. This was not the sole example, later I thought the same thing in regard to (almost ) every art instillation in the museum having a dedicated safe/lock. Overall βThe Heistβ is a great heist room with great puzzles, though if you come for the story (which few do) you may leave asking for more. I cant wait to come back to try their other rooms!

Our team of five had a lot of fun with this room that was clearly designed with thought and crafted with care. It hit all the right dramatic beats for a βheistβ and contained very nice wow moments that could be shared by most or all of the players. Enough to do for five, with intuitive flow for what to do. Our team struggled with two puzzles, one a bit process-y and a cekestial one where the GM (not one of the owners) seemed to not be responsive for a few minutes despite us asking for a nudge multiple times. These lower notes did not mar the experience and the fun final act - I would definitely take another group here!

Solid room but they gave way too many unprompted hints, even though we were flying through it
βExperience the life of a thief and take a stab at stealing the world's largest diamond...!β
βWe loved Red Foxβs The Heist. It was quirky, unique, and loaded with great puzzles. β
