While carrying out your duties, you and your team encounter a similar outage from the Inn's history. You creep into the darkness to successfully restore the power and escape before your unfortunate demise is secured. Testing your senses, with the exception of sight, will you be able to restore the power to Madame Locktane’s Inn & Suites and escape the darkness? Or will you be consumed by the monstrosities that lie within the walls of this condemned motel?

If you’d like to solve puzzles in the dark, I recommend this room. If you want a scary room, I recommend “Neighborhood Watch.” My group enjoyed all the rooms by this company.

Don’t think I’ve laughed more in a room before 😂. Just the right amount of spooky to keep you on your toes. You really never know what to expect while you’re in there. Very unique layout and interactive puzzles. Overall a lot of fun!

Extremely creative and fun room. Communication has never been this quintessential to escaping.

This was my first pitch black room and I had enjoyed myself so much!

Although this room wasn’t my favorite, it’s still solid. The only thing I didn’t like was the black out darkness, but that’s the schtick of the room. It was unique and challenging but I won’t be searching for black out rooms like this one in the future.

This was my first dark room and I really appreciated the chance to try it in a room that I knew was not supposed to be scary in any way! Because the room was not a scary room at all, my group (full of scaredy cats) was more willing to explore the dark and touch things freely. I don't think I particularly enjoy spending 60% of my game being unable to see, but it was an experience. The concept seems very fun to explore. This room actually included more puzzles in the dark than I expected. Storytelling and GM interaction really fit the scene.

Get ready because this game is hard! And you cannot be afraid of the dark either because you’re in that for most of the game. It causes you to use mental awareness of what’s happening around you. Overall great game and would play again!

Would definitely recommend this to other folks. We had some in our group worried about being scared and they were happy to hear that this wasn’t scary. It’s nice having that as an option for a dark room! The puzzles in the dark were excellent! We loved working and communicating well as a team to solve the dark area. I am also tickled at the cleverness here - pretty cool of the designers to not have to worry about set design too much by making things pitch black! That said, I love that they showed off their set design skills and primed you for what the dark room _would_ look like by having a gorgeous anteroom. Very fun time!

Cannot see AT ALL. You literally will not be able to see anything. It was frustrating, but overall the room is pretty easy. It’s worth doing.

Travelled to Florida to do 8 rooms and this was the last one. We were very pleased we chose this to close out our adventure because it was so fun! Completely tests your communication skills and makes you rely on each other. The puzzles were not too hard, but the dark component is what throws everyone off. GM/Host Jon, was very nice and his team was very attentive during game play. This is a must do if you want to test your team/groups skills and communication. Highly recommend!
