It's been over a year since your friend has gone missing, however you've never stopped searching. Newly discovered photos and information has led you to the largest wetlands in south central Louisiana. Knowing that your friend is a dedicated hiker and daring explorer, all signs point to the Haddonfield Territory, a sovereign region, off the grid, at the base of the Appalachian Mountains. It's uncharted, dangerous and uninhabitable. To make matters worse, you've learned that a string of missing person cases litter the surrounding area leaving locals to believe that there's more than just the dense thicket and treacherous wildlife within. For you, the path is clear: If you want to find your friend, you must head to Louisiana and venture deep inside the Haddonfield Territory.

LOVED this room, truly had an amazing atmosphere with some fun scares. Very linear and story driven, with puzzles that will leave you feeling satisfied. Get ready for some dark rooms!

I played this game with 4 people and we loved it! The set design is very immersive and the puzzles make sense and flow really well with the storyline. My whole team got scared on multiple occasions and It really feels like there’s something out there at all times thanks to so many clever in game moments. This room is tech heavy and feels very fresh and new gen while still maintaining a rustic look. all around a great new addition to this maze rooms location, perfect for horror lovers and those alike.

TIP: We were SO immersed we lost track of time! I recommend you ask for verbal time checks if your team needs them! You know when something’s a well known classic, but then someone does it SUPER well & suddenly it’s the best thing ever again? Like chocolate cake is great but then when you taste one that’s so amazing you can’t ever go back to any other chocolate cake but that one? That’s this room. This room’s theme is not unique, but boy, it does it *so well*. It was beyond immersive, from the moment you step in. You WILL get scared. The sounds are great. The atmosphere. The sets. The puzzles. And yeah, other escape rooms have all that but they just nailed it. One major note is that this is NOT a supernatural room - I was hoping it would be since that’s my favorite but I don’t regret booking this for a second. I just wish they’d taken a more creative theme/story because for me, with Garrets they really went above & beyond expectations and this one was not that creative story wise. However: boy, from the second you start, they knocked it out of the park. I want to go into detail about all the cool stuff but I can’t ruin it. Who would like this room? Horror fans of serial killers. Who will not like this room? Children and chickens. It got us GOOD. And, like, repeatedly. For context, I’ve only ever done a couple scary rooms before this (the Orphanage, Pig Farmer) and neither of those consistently kept up the tension or the scares (I don’t think that was the point necessarily in those rooms but I would’ve appreciated it). There are NO scare actors in this, but you don’t need them. I was on my toes from the jump. This would be a blast to play on a date or with an adult group of friends who like getting scared. The puzzles flow so well too, they were fun and engaging and almost no locks! They really got creative, and yeah, they’re not the hardest puzzles (it’s a medium room) but I will take creative>impossible any day. I appreciated that even though there wasn’t a lot of story, the way they told it was REALLY great and it just kept pulling you deeper & deeper in. I would still personally rank the Garrets higher than this from a story perspective (the ending of Garrets). Beyond that though, or if you like more grounded stories, this one is absolutely worth it. Also, it’s newer, so nothing is broken or worn down, although I think that’ll actually help this room in the long run aesthetically. I feel like this room for sure will win some kind of award in the future, even if it’s just for the little details. It was a blast, if any of this review resonates with you, I think you’ll love it. Mild spoilers below, but here’s the type of people who would absolutely love this room: . . . . . . . . . . . . . - fans of: Friday the 13th, The X-Files episode “Home”, the Hills Have Eyes, or anything killer hillbilly related.

We’ve done just three escape rooms now with two being at Maze Rooms — the staff and the incredible atmosphere of the rooms really make you want to keep coming back. I only wish they had more rooms so we could keep working with them. I highly recommend this room! I’m a beginner and I feel like puzzles were the perfect balance of challenging without completing stumping me. Myself and my partner are both huge scaredy cats so we had a hard time getting through the room and even went 15 minutes over! However, we still had so much fun. Even though I don’t have much experience you can just tell that Maze Rooms have GREAT high quality rooms with GREAT high quality staff. Thank you guys again!!

This is an awesome new game in Los Angeles for people who want a horror experience without the extreme nature of a room with live actors. The puzzles are very clever and it’s a fun time for 2 to 3 people. I would say this room is on the easier side, so don’t bring too big of a group if you are on the experienced side.

AMAZING! We screamed so many times. This is mostly a tech game, but there was 1 lock. The set is stunning. Beautiful atmosphere, challenging puzzles, but not too hard. Great room for enthusiasts.

Immersive and macabre set with thematic puzzles integrated into the decor. A great example of a well-executed room with zero red herrings and hidden tech that makes for a scary experience throughout. Puzzles are logical and intuitive. Highly recommend for beginners and intermediate players. Our GM, Sophia was personable and made our time there fun and engaging!

Another great room from Maze Rooms. They are well done and well cared for. I’ve never been loyal to an escape room company but this one has really impressed me. We got stuck a few times in this one and we were told that they were common sticking points. Don’t be afraid to ask for a hint. Overall really fun and the puzzles and surprises are great. Check it out!

Following in the footsteps of The Garretts, this room features immersive sets, immaculate sign posting, and a delightful puzzle flow. This room created many wonderful moments that progressed the story, gave you a moment to pause, and offered clear act breaks. While this room does have some jump scares, it’s more creepy than actively scary. Highly recommend the work this location and creator is doing!
