Temporarily Closed - A storm is rolling in, and the DeLaporte’s annual carnival ball is supposed to start in an hour. Problem is, all the lights in the house are on the fritz. All wires in the grand estate mysteriously lead to the recently discovered attic bedroom of Uncle Remy DeLaporte, a kooky inventor who once claimed to have invented a perpetual motion machine. Can you restore the power before the ball starts?

Inventors attic is a cool little room, emphasis on the little. Play with a smaller group as some parts can be a little cramped. Good addition to the immersive experience of EMR, they really set the bar for full immersion experience, the only other place I’ve seen similar is Strangebird Immersive.

We are a family of four with teenagers, and we consider ourselves to be intermediate in ability. This is a “must do” in New Orleans. The entire place was obviously intricately and skillfully designed and built. Complete immersion from the entry to the lobby to the rooms. Game master was incredibly attentive. We did 3 rooms there in a row; Inventor’s Attic was the final room and a great culmination to our time at Escape My Room. Lots of puzzles, but seemed like the right amount and difficulty for the time frame.

There’s a reason this place gets accolades. We loved this room. Completed with a party of 3 while we were on vacation. Lobby area has puzzles to keep you entertained while you wait, staff is very friendly and decor was amazing. Very immersive experience and challenging as well.
“Inventor’s Attic is a must-play for experienced room escapers.“
