Another gem from Doldricks! I love split start rooms and this was probably the best implementation of it I have played. Seemed to our group to be on the easier side which would keep this from being a 10/10 on my books, but definitely a 9+/10 room considering the set design, fun puzzles, and overall good time playing this game!
Gameplay was a lot of fun and flowed well. All the puzzles made sense and fit into the room’s theme.
Doldrick’s rooms never fail to amaze in the set atmosphere category. From start to finish, everything was eye catching and fit the themeing perfectly.
Great staff every time we have visited!

The set design and split start was definitely interesting and engaging, but wouldn’t say any puzzle was particularly unique.
The intro video and ending is very amusing along with the clues found throughout the room. It was one of the few rooms where we actually felt like we were in the story from the intro video rather than just being a player in the room.

Our group of four are reasonably experienced separately, but only played 4 rooms together previously. We escaped in 52 minutes with no assistance needed. Especially for this being a split start room, we were surprised by how easy it was. It didn’t take away from the experience at all, but once your team joins forces after the split start, I think the room could have benefited from more challenging puzzles.
Mechanical
Primarily locks and keys with one cool memorable element

4 seemed perfect for reasonable experienced players. Experts can probably get away with 2 while beginners would probably benefit from 6. Anything more than 6 will feel crowded and probably not enough to do.

I LOVED this game we were running round having such a good time. The game flow was so great and the puzzles hard without being too challeneging.
This game is so so fun! Such a great puzzle flow and great challenges.
Set design was great and had some really cool surprises.

The story fully informed the game play and worked well along side the puzzles.

Story: 9/10 Theming: 10/10 Puzzle Difficulty: 8/10 Bathroom: 7/10 Again, the theming and immersion were so spot on. It really felt like such a grand space when you looked around. Very cool for an escape room. We've done a ton of pirate themed ones and this is definitely the best executed of them all. The puzzles were fun and we literally realized a pun about the room as we were driving away and it made us laugh and appreciate the room even more. Very well done!
You have a split start, but it's really nice how much they make you work together

Very fun game! Kind of rushed into the room bc we were running a little late but we managed to escape with just 2 of us. Flow of puzzles was fantastic and realized storybook-like puzzles, consistent story and theme, and the finale were all incredibly enjoyable

It’s so hard to find a good pirate themed room, and this one was really a great relief at being a good one!

Best pirate themed escape room I’ve ever done! I have never seen some of the puzzles used in this room which is always a huge plus from me and my partner! Escaped with the just the two of us using what I would call 1.5 hints and less than a minute left. Must try if you are in the area!

I can absolutely attest that this is the best pirate escape room you'll ever do. It was for me. Doldrick's is just incredible across the board. I can't tell you what makes this the best pirate ship set without ruining a big part of the game, but TRUST ME, when you make your way through the game, you'll reach a "WHOA!!" moment that provides a crazy wonderful detour to the game goals. I can tell you this though: to keep the immersion, it's an animatronic parrot who gives you your clues!! Add to that solid intuitive nautical/pirate themed puzzles, a wonderful flow & this'll be the best 75 minutes (or less) time you have spent in an age. So what are you waiting for? Drink up, me hearties! YO HO!!
Best pirate ship ever.
