The theme of the escape rooms were associated with the building itself which was an extra touch. The puzzles were fun, and the progression through the room was amazing to watch unfold. This is a great example of how fun tech related puzzles can be. I would recommend having more people to really enjoy some of the puzzles (minimum of 4 potentially), although it is possible with fewer.

This is my #2 favorite room in the Bay Area. Challenging, advanced tech puzzles, team work, and LED lights, what’s not to love.
Flow was great, multiple things to do at the same time to progress at times.
Most advance tech room in the Bay Area
Top notch staff
Great story integration to the theme.

I played when this initially came out, and at the time it really “wow”ed us with some of the mechanics and reveals. Even if I were to play for the first time now, I think this sense of wonder would still unfold - our player journey moved in ways we didn’t expect, yet fit cohesively with the theme and story world so that these surprises did not feel out of place.

Imagine my surprise to hear Palace Games hosts 2 of the top 50 escape rooms in the world!! Say whattttt???! Yep, so we did The Edison Room. It's longer than a typical escape room. You have 100 mins to escape. You’ll be paying a premium for this experience btw. With all that said, this is a very unique experience. I don't want to spoil much, so I'll just say this: the level of tech involved in the rooms is absolutely amazing! There were puzzles with tech that I've never seen before. There was probably 2 locks the whole game. Everything else are triggers to get to the next step. This room in particular is extremely cooperative. Your team's communication skills better be up there or you'll have a hard time. It's more physical than other rooms I've played. If you can pass 6th grade PE then ya got this. There were two thing that I wasn't particularly fond. First is the repetitiveness of some of the puzzles. There are a few very smilier puzzle types. The second is that there were several times which felt like the room was over or coulda ended at that point but only to find out there were more puzzles. I'm not saying there's too many puzzle, I'm just saying at the completion of certain puzzles there's a false sense of celebration. Overall, highly recommend this room. Very cool technology, the wow factor is there. Just know, a lot of physical movement is involved with this game!

Loved the production. It’s wonderfully themed room. We had 7 people and everyone had something to do. It definitely met my expectations after hearing a lot of positive reviews about it.

A truly electrifying game that will have your brain and body working to full capacity. The tech and adaptability of this game are the real stars, and it really feels like you are in a video game, but without losing the escape room element. Truly an experience every enthusiast and new player can enjoy!

The use of tech in this room is like you’re in a real life video game. This room requires observant puzzle lovers who can communicate well without getting frustrated with each other. Team work makes the dream work! I’d recommend doing some sprints before you try this room because you’ll be sweating ;) This room automatically adapts to your group size but I’d recommend at least 6 people.

OMG, there’s a reason this game has so many awards under its belt. It is phenomenal, it still tops my list as the best escape room I’ve ever done. The technology, the familiar yet distinctness to it, so, so many elements that’ll have you gasping over and over again while you’re in there. It’s truly a phenomenal experience, and one I wish I could play for the first time again. Fantastic group puzzles, about a quarter of the room has fairly traditional feeling escape room puzzles and aspects and the rest completely redefines what a good escape room should be like. Highly, highly recommend!

Genuinely one of the best games ever made. Every single stage was an amazing experience. A few things happened in this room that I have only dreamed about an escape room being able to do. Put this on your dream list.

This room is highly touted for good reason. I did it in a group of 3; I'd recommend 4, maybe 5. I dont think this would be anywhere near as fun for 8. The puzzles are very linear, but it's fun, collaborative, and requires physical teamwork. My biggest qualm is there are unprompted clues built into the room! Even so, the tech is innovative (won't spoil much else), and the puzzle types are very diverse. It's physically challenging (not forceful) too, which I enjoyed very much.
