If you’re a fan of the films, this is the escape room for you! It works so that, instead of one big escape, there are multiple 5-20 minute escapes along the way. Even if you don’t succeed in time, you get pushed along to the next room. At the end, they let you know where you went wrong, or how you could have improved your score. For those wondering, yes, it does go back to the very first film! There are also small details here and there that add to the lore if you’re familiar with the series!

I would not recommend the SAW escape room. While I was really looking forward to it, it was not a fun experience. While the room shines with spectacular sets and a large footprint, the puzzles are poorly designed and the timed rooms make the experience more frustrating than fun. It’s clear the owners prioritize profit over players. This is not a typical escape room because it is both a publicly booked room, and they have an 8 to 10 minute timer for each room counting down. When the timer reaches 0 you must move to next room, no matter if you failed or passed. This is extremely frustrating because in many of the rooms, even if you told the staff you wanted clues, they won’t help you and you get stuck with no support. And with this being a public game, you are often stuck with people who do not know what they’re doing and do not contribute to the game. Our group had 9 people, and I would say it’s far too many for this room given a lot of the puzzles are linear. Again, I really do want to stress that the room designs and the quality of the build are beautiful and reflect the movies perfectly. So it’s truly a shame that the design of the puzzles didn’t live up to the quality of the set. In some cases, you even required outside knowledge to complete puzzles, which is a big no-no in escape room design. For two of the puzzles, our team entered the right codes, but the game did not accept them and we failed. After the game ended, the staff told us that we just needed to wait longer doing nothing and eventually, the code would’ve worked. I’m sorry, what?! They should have been explained to us prior to the game if there were quirks to their locks. It should also be noted that I purchased our tickets using a Groupon that said that it would include a free SAW collectors coin, but nobody in my group was given this. We only realized it after we left, but the staff should have had it marked on the reservation.

This was an amazing experience! Less like a normal escape room and more of a haunted house with puzzles. There were definitely too many people in there (9), we were tripping over one another. A group of 4-6 would have been better. It’s probably worth it to pay for a private experience. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

This had a lot of potential. The props did make you feel like you were in the movie however the groups are too large in my opinion- not enough for everyone to do and then you have some people just screwing around. If you don’t finish an area in enough time they just keep pushing you through the house to keep on schedule. This wouldn’t be too big of a deal but they wanted you to use previous clues to figure out new puzzles and you could not backtrack. I wanted to love this so much as a SAW fan but it fell really, really flat for me. Don’t waste your time/money.. just rewatch the movies!

so maybe its because of the people that we joined, but it really wasnt enjoyable. For starters, the group didnt all arrive on time, so while we were working the first room, all of a sudden a whole other group showed up and wasted some time off the clock. Additionally, it was evident that not everyone was there to help clear the room, but to explore on their own. the team work was really lacking. If you want to go, I suggest going with as many friends as possible to fill up all the slots. That would make it more enjoyable. Overall, the production was great though!

Must do if you like the movies! The detail and designs of the rooms are amazing. I hope they come out with a second room.

It has potential. The puzzles and games are fun and different. The actors ruined it for us. They were very disengaged. Rude. Out of character more than in. Our Bailey acts like he was putting in his hours for his paycheck.
227 escape rooms
Large groups of public experiences. It does feel like you are on set. But just hard to really enjoy or fully experience in a group of 29 strangers.
502 escape rooms
Too many people, shoved out into the next area before completing most puzzles with an actor screaming at you. Would much rather do with a group of 5-6 max and have time to complete the puzzles

The atmosphere was very cool, but definitely a touristy place, too many people in 1 escape room, so it makes it very hard when people don’t want to play nice. Wasn’t super scary, a few places here and there that made you jump, and a some cool interactive parts to the room. Happy to have done it but wouldn’t pay the money again because too many people are crowded into 1 room.
“It seriously delivered. Stepping inside felt like crossing over into Jigsaw’s depraved world.“
