This was so good, felt like I was living the mummy movies in real life !!!!!

Itβs a decent room with awesome atmosphere. The room was super immersive with some special effects. The puzzles were mostly observant. However, some of the props were worn out that the GM needed to manually triggered them. That also made us confused a bit and slowed us down. Having said that, itβs still a fun room. Just hoped they would maintain there room better.

The room was super beautiful, but it was really frustrating to be told we could have as many hints whenever we wanted and that not be the case. When we solved a puzzle correctly, it didnβt trigger. We immediately asked for assistance, but we werenβt able to get it because the one mod on site was greeting other groups.

This is a good one. Great atmosphere and love the linear progression. Last part is very fun as well. Some puzzles were a bit of a stretch though

One of the best games weβve played! The rooms had some really cool and immersive tech/elements and a great surprise at the end that is both unique and fun!

None of the puzzles were very exciting in this room. The puzzles that were there were pretty simple. I was very annoyed with the number of red herrings. There are a decent amount of props that look like they will be puzzles but end up being props for decoration. My partner and I really only decided to do this room because we wanted to see what the set was like. We heard it was a high budget set and it it really did have awesome set with a great atmosphere. I think that going into this room expecting more of an experience (like an adventure) rather than an escape room (with a lot of puzzles and a clear objective) might make the experience better. It's good if you don't get too hung up on using every item or think too hard about all the puzzles you have or have not done.

This was our first Quest Room experience and by far our favorite. Design and decor was on point and I loved how interactive it was. Our game master play his role well and it was fun to have him guide us when we needed it.

Great set design and mostly fun puzzles. There were a couple of questionable puzzles, the way they were designed could have been better, but overall we enjoyed it.

Going in, I really wanted to like Red Giant. The story, theme, and set were all really impressive and up my alley. However, we had a pretty rough game. In general, I donβt like to leave bad reviews just because the puzzles didnβt click with me, but in this case, there were problems with the maintenance of the room and our GM experience that felt like they went beyond that. Iβll start with what was good: the sets were great as was the overall ambiance. There were great story beats at the beginning, middle, and end. There were several cool moments where solving a puzzle triggered some sort of large physical mechanism. You definitely wondered if you were going to trigger some sort of mummyβs curse. Less good: the mechanism to move from the first room to the second room - the one that triggered the great story beat at the beginning - was just broken. I spent 2-3 minutes fiddling with it to make sure I wasnβt missing some aspect of how it worked. Eventually our GM intervened and manually triggered the unlock. The resulting show scene was cool, but was undercut by my frustration with the mechanism. Obviously it would be ideal if the mechanism worked, but if itβs broken, I would expect the GM to know and intervene much more aggressively. And the ugly: several of the puzzles in the room felt to me like they lacked adequate signposting. It felt like there was a goal of avoiding text in English to avoid breaking immersion, but the end result was that it was just hard to tell what to do. One puzzle traded on a common puzzle type, but with an extra mechanic that wasnβt clued. We only learned the extra mechanic when we asked for a hint in frustration - I felt like that information should have been clued in the room or volunteered by the GM when it was clear we otherwise knew what to do. Another required extracting information that we could barely see, even with 3 people staring at it. Given how fiddly so many of the puzzles were, I would have preferred to see much more active babysitting by our GM, who instead was almost entirely hands-off unless we explicitly asked for help. My advice to others would be to approach Red Giant as a story to experience rather than a puzzle to solve and aggressively ask for hints. With that approach, I think you might have a better time than we did.
