A Ship is lost without it's Captain, but the twist and turns of the sea deliver you and your team to this state-of-the-art, abandoned ship. It's got a bit of a personality, but you don't mind, as long as you're safe from what lurks in the ocean.

This was my first 60Out room and it was fun! We played with the maximum amount of players, definitely a smaller space so 2-4 players could be a good group size!

Some 60 Out rooms are great but this one was not worth the $45 a person (with a discount!) that we paid. The room felt old and tired. As mentioned in another review all the pretty undersea atmospheric theming that you see in the promotional photo isnβt working in the game so you just have black windows with the screens turned off. Several of the puzzles had wonky tech, where we solved things but they didnβt trigger right away, confusing us if we had actually done the correct thing. Makes me wonder if it was on a manual trigger and if our GM, who was manning another escape room at the same time as ours, just wasnβt paying attention? (At one point they accidentally gave us a clue for a different room, which led to further confusion.) One of the puzzles involved a digital number screen that was impossible to read, which was very frustrating. We also thought several of the puzzles didnβt really make logical sense as to what you were supposed to do with them. This room also relies heavily on both darkness and a fair amount of reading as an element, which I am not a fan of. Unless youβre a 60 Out completist Iβd skip this one.

We chose this puzzle due to the theme. The set design was fun and imaginative. The room started off rather slow, but ended up finishing with quite a bang. Overall we came away enjoying this room quite a bit, the puzzles were straightforward.

Playing this room alone was easy at some points and hard at others. The first room is very dark but that adds to the fun of finding things and solving the puzzles. Within the space, itβs probably the most linear room of the ones at this location plus the sound cues and voiceovers add to the ambiance and give it a push past mundane. Towards the end it does help to have extra hands to solve the final round of puzzles but it was doable alone, just involved a little more running around.

The beginning was kinda odd to me and the rest was just alright. The puzzles werenβt that creative and one of the main puzzles wasnβt working properly. We did tell the GM that we didnβt want any nudges, but at that case, he shouldβve let us know. The room was also not well maintained and not as beautiful as the ads.

Theming and set design were on point. Our team was only 2, and we just made it. There was a lot of empty space but pretty sure it was meant for more players. Anyway, overall a great play and would be fun for beginners. There are times where itβs dark, so be careful moving around. The puzzles werenβt necessary hard, but the flow made it a great experience.
βA very gorgeous scenic achieved superb immersion... [in an] ambiguously futuristic fantasy world.β
