Do not recommend this room or business. we love escape rooms, we aren’t professionals by any means nor do we break records as a group of 2 but we have done 30-40 escape rooms in many different states and (surprisingly) Tacoma has INCREDIBLE escape rooms! We were pleasantly surprised! We did another 7 rooms from various other locations during our week vacation and they were all so much better. Some more expensive but others cheaper than this one and still way better. For this room, we were given a wrong piece of the puzzle from the very beginning and therefore we were stuck on a single puzzle for a really long time. The game master ultimately gave us the answer to keep things moving but it bothered us that we couldn’t figure it out. At the end of the game, we asked for an explanation of that puzzle and he simply said “it was in one of the puzzle pieces.” He didn’t get up to show us or let us explain that the piece we had gotten was actually not the correct one. We weren’t asking for a refund, we weren’t even mad, we just wanted to understand why that puzzle stumped us for so long. Overall poor experience despite escaping. It wasn’t just the game master though, the room itself is very flat and not immersive. There are other much better rooms, including The Rockstar from Cityscape games, the pirate one from Escape Hour Point Ruston (and their Gig Harbor location), and many others around the area!!

Do not play this game. Walking in feels very overwhelming as this company does escape rooms, axe throwing, rage room, painting etc. Walking into the room you have very little to go off - and the biggest problem was we had no way of communicating with our game master. We are given a tablet to ask for clues but were in the “wrong” channel and got no response for over 10 minutes. Locks/puzzle mechanics were worn and difficult to open. Key puzzle really needed to be maneuvered in a specific way - GM even struggled when walking us through the ending. TLDR; there are much better escape experiences in the Tacoma area.

We did this one with our 10 and14 year old kids. They enjoyed and were able to help some. The room was pretty basic overall. Some puzzles were confusing but we did escape. With a few more adult brains it may have been easier.

the immersion and decoration of this room were lacking. it was very empty and flat feeling. the flow of the puzzles was okay but nothing special. the staff were nice but i think one person was running multiple rooms at once which is not the coolest. the Worst thing about this experience was the clue giving system. they give you a tablet on which to text message them, and then they take several minutes to respond. this wouldn’t be a huge deal if they didn’t have a puzzle which requires you to verify your code with your host before entering it. you’re going to force me to message you and then i have to wait several minutes for you to answer while my time is ticking away? not cool. there are lots of better escape rooms in tacoma, i would recommend choosing another place.
