You’ve started classes at UCXX and while you have a couple of cool classes, your favorite class so far has been psychology. The professor is a bit eccentric but insanely smart and you’re definitely his favorite student. He recently won an award for some of his experiments and invited you to a blow-out party at his apartment! You spent the night going crazy-probably? You aren’t so sure, it’s all a little hazy. You wake up in a cold sweat in some very unfortunate circumstances, groggy and still under the effects of whatever you were dosed with. The Professor is missing, and you’re pretty sure one of his test subjects must have done this! Can you figure out what happened last night, save yourselves and save the Professor before time runs out and the patient finds you?

This is a classic Questroom experience — meaning it’s veers far from traditional escape room. It’s a story with a huge twist and there aren’t many puzzles at all. Instead, you’re the actors in this experience and I can totally see this room being amplified or diluted by the quality of your friends. That being said I played it with a bunch of people who knew their assignment and played along just perfectly. We had an amazing time and yes it is scary and definitely not for the feint of heart. Really unique game style.

I really had to sit and think about my review for this one to make sure it was as honest and as non-biased as I possibly could make it. This room is not spooky, this room is scary- in what actual world is this room classified as not scary? My team was sold on this room being not scary at all and a comedic “thriller.” That is not the case. If you do not like scary, the dark, or being alone, do NOT do this room. It caused one of our teammates to have a panic attack, the rest of us to be on the brink of a panic attack and the crew of quest room didn’t really do much to help us out- and it was not appreciated. The intended twist at the end was fun, we didn’t experience it because we ended the game, but getting to that point was not fun. Also- I’m not really sure what all the “puzzles” everyone keeps talking about. We didn’t really solve any puzzles, it was more of a “I need this for that, let’s do that” and less of a riddle or actual puzzle. I really had high hopes for this game, but we were kind of bamboozled by what the sold expectation was and what we got. I hate leaving a review like this because if you love scary things, by all means, but we know our lane and they hoodwinked us.

It was a good story and Most of the puzzles were good BUT we had an awful game master who was very rude (we know the sarcasm is part of the room experience but he took it so far that it felt more insulting than funny). Also some puzzles were dumb

Definitely a different room with things and plot twists I wasn’t expecting. I enjoy this type of theme and the puzzles were creative. There is a live actor (made known ahead of time) but they don’t touch you. Set design was particularly impressive in certain places. If you want a “take-home” experience, this is the room for you! 😉

This game was incredible! We were laughing, running, screaming. There was just so much emotion going on. The twist is FANTASTIC!!! I played with just my husband, but I wish we had brought friends. It worth it!

“This was an experience driven room that focused on storytelling and tasks with some light puzzling.“
