An Opportunity To Prove Yourself…. Or you’ll be sleeping with the Fishes. You and your group took the leap and accepted a mysterious job interview with the notorious gangster known only as “M”. She’s looking for some new brains in her operation, but you’ll have to prove your keep to gain access to her inner circle. She’s tasked you with finding her hideout - but only the most clever are able to decipher the puzzles left behind by M. Seems simple enough until she tells you, “Those that fail the test have a way of disappearing. Many already have.”

Super fun room! I wish the “free” hints were a little less frequent, but the GMs are so nice they clearly just want to help. The room is awesome, lots of cool, unique elements.

We actually went blind going into The Blind Pig and we had a blast! For the uninitiated, you are trying to sneak into a bar during the prohibition era and become one with the mob. The outdoor storefronts were fun to explore, and some puzzles were very original and clever. Every time a secret opened up, it was an exciting moment. Wasn’t expecting to have as much fun as I did in this room! It had a great balance of tricky puzzles and a fun design. Unfortunately, one of the puzzles was broken, so we needed the GM to give us a number for a code. Also, there is a lot of reading early on, which made it feel somewhat guided, but it eases on. I would totally drink at The Blind Pig! Beats sleeping with the fishes!

One of the best rooms I've done so far, the teeming and flow of the rooms was great, the puzzles were varied and interesting, the story was fun and engaging, and the unexpected parts were delightful.

The Blind Pig was a really fun room! It was creative with its space, and the puzzles were ones I had never seen before. The second room was a bit overwhelming at first, but it was very manageable once the team got organized.

This room had some interesting puzzles and mechanics we haven’t seen used in those particular ways before. Our GM, Matthew, was very nice and personable. Solid experience overall.

I liked Blind Pig quite a bit, but it isn't without a couple speedbumps. The decor was very nice at first glance, but there were also alot of gaps into the back of sets that felt like they should be covered up. The puzzling was general really interesting, but there were a few props that were finicky to work with or felt totally out of place. There were a couple puzzles that felt very unique and gave great solve moments, which I appreciated. This game does show it's age, but it still is worth the visit if you are in the area!

The room design was very immersive and the flow of the puzzles had us busy the entire time. This room managed to use unique puzzles that made the room very memorable. Our game master , Lilly, was very enthusiastic and set the scene for us from beginning to finish.

This room has won well-earned awards, though arguably deserving more. The room—although MER’s oldest—is still extremely innovative and clever. The puzzles are relentlessly fun and engaging, and the atmosphere adds to the intensity and enjoyment of the whole process. If I was offered to join the mob by breaking into the Blind Pig, I’d take the job in a heartbeat.

This room was my favorite at MER. The theming was very well made and the story is interesting. The puzzles were unique and challenging. This room was a bit harder than the other rooms at this location, so bringing some older players with experience is recommended.

Murfreesboro Escape Rooms is a great escape room in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Their Blind Pig room is their most popular room, but they do have some other good rooms. Parking is easy. Their facility is clean, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The Blind Pig was beautiful and fun. They found creative ways to make the small room feel more expansive, but the room was too small. I don't usually like reading in an escape room, but I loved that even though The Blind Pig had multiple reading tasks, the reading wasn't too long and didn't feel tedious. There were many clever generation two locks in this room including secret doors, lasers, and physical challenge puzzles. There were many doors to open and almost no boring generation one locked boxes. The hints were clear and helpful, and everything in the room was clued very well. There was good feedback and responsiveness to all the puzzle solves accept for one. That one solve unlocked a door, but we had to find and pull the door open to get it to actually open.
