Toxicity

I want to start off by saying the staff was really nice- we were indecisive about some things and they were really helpful and worked with us for decisions. I think the mechanic was very unique too. It was however very clear that this isn’t the first incarnation of this room. They mentioned it was previously 90 minutes and I don’t think as much was changed as necessary to get it down to 60. Some things were very confusing, and not in the expected escape room way- just worded in a way that made it hard to figure out the task at hand.

Definitely a 10/10 difficulty level room. The lack of flow is what makes it hard to navigate around the room. Clues are heavily relied on communication. Married couples… good luck! we kinda got irritated a little at each other LOL. It was a great experience for us as a team of 2 I feel like this would have been a little more easier with 3 or 4. Fun night! will come back!

This has been my least favorite room so far, which is unfortunate since I’ve enjoyed the other rooms well enough and the staff is fantastic. There was absolutely no flow to this room and it just seemed like unlocking locks, there were no novel tasks. It felt like we just stayed in the same place the whole time doing the same thing over and over to figure out another code to just rinse and repeat. We felt no satisfaction in the end. The only thing I would say is novel was being blind folded and handcuffed, but the room can’t rely on that alone. Plus it was so one of our team members was handcuffed for about 30 mins which was boring and tiring to figure out how to unlock them.

Worst game I’ve played. No flow or logic to anything in this room.

Being blindfolded and handcuffed makes the room seem intimidating, however you can pretty quickly get players released and have all hands on deck to get the room finished

This is probably in the bottom five of our rooms played out of about 400. The scenic was basic and awful, the puzzles made no sense at all either. At one point we asked for a clue and the game master mimicked my teammate. Really bad experience.

An upsetting game to play. A lot of puzzles didn’t flow together or just didn’t make sense. It’s clear that this room has been through several iterations or changes- there were several elements that were still in place but unusable, despite clearly being linked to some sort of puzzle. There was also a crucial piece missing in our game, and at one point, a game master seemed to mock a member of our team while they asked for a clue.

This game was so laborious and not in a fun way. It’s near impossible to get codes you need to unchain everyone. Puzzles were so convoluted that you needed a clue at every step of the way. Nothing fun about it. The worst part was definitely the owner and gamehost- rude and unaccomodating. You can get a sense of the type of person the owner is by the way the owner attacks people who leave negative reviews online. Whoever our game host was was unfriendly and rude-made us feel stupid for needing so many clues. The owner kept boasting about degrees earned and how that makes them the best game creator. You will leave frustrated.
