One of the, if not the best, escape room we've been to. The atmosphere and props were incredible, providing an incredibly rich and immersive experience. The puzzles were fantastic, super creative, varied, and unique. We can't wait to go back and try all the other rooms.

This is such a visually satisfying experience with perfectly logical and fun puzzles. Cipher Room is just spot on in creating a delightful playing experience.

Every escape room in The Cipher Room comes with interesting elements. The reviews of this room are overwhelming positive for good reason.

Another great room from Cipher including well thought out production value and storyline. We enjoyed the black and white theme as this is something we haven’t experienced before in an escape room. There were a lot of puzzles to do in this room but we found they made sense and were relatively easy to follow.

Fun Detective Noir theme. Really clever Black & White aesthetic, very fun. Lots of rooms and puzzles which kept us busy. Not a terribly difficult puzzle room - but we did need one hint! We also had a wonderful game master who seemed genuinely excited about escape rooms. Really great about asking us if we wanted hints before sharing! Thank you Nathy! Interesting concept for a plot - but the voice over took us out of the immersion. Would recommend re-recording the lines so that they are acted out- not just spoken.

What a visually stunning escape experience. The monochromatic decor and the noir-style story delivery was so, so fun. Tricky, but not impossible, each puzzle was satisfying to finish. ‘The Marlowe Hotel’ is a great room!

Transported you to another time and place from the start. Inventive puzzles fitting well with the theme. A delight from start to finish

From the moment you open your eyes in the Marlowe Hotel you are transported into a film noir set with an entirely black and white set design. The puzzles were varied and mostly challenging but connected very well with the theme. There are lots of little clues hidden around so you need to be extremely perceptive to get everything you require. Their recommendation to wear all black and white is a must to get the most out of the unique immersion factor and really made us feel in the world. Our Game Master Tess was lovely to chat to and kept us entertained while we waited.

Although every Cipher room is of outstanding quality, The Marlowe Hotel was one of my absolute favourites from the bunch. Set design and attention to detail was flawless with a seamless black and white noir theme with tricky puzzles and immaculate props that all served the story. I cannot recommend this one enough, special shout-out to our GM Tess who was lovely and great to chat to. Don’t forget to wear your best black and white outfit ⚪️⚫️
