Super cute and unique experience! Good story and great puns/humor and…songs! GM Joel was fab! Unique puzzles due to the format. Just do it.

This was a unique, fun, quirky experience! I had some pre-game concerns about the fit for our team of one escape room enthusiast and two retired parents with minimal escape room experience and varying attention spans, English being none of our first language, and us being in three countries and on two continents. The game was a great success! It worked really well for everyone - the pace was great, music and visuals engaging even for the team member with short attention span who is less of a puzzler, and we really felt we were doing something together. Extra plus for subtitles for the songs and cut scenes! The peek behind the scenes at the end also really added to the experience. I’ve already made a date with a friend new to eacape rooms living in another city to do this together.

The Keeper and the Fungus Among Us kept our group engaged and enchanted for our entire session. We loved everything—the sets, the music, the interactivity with the puppets/gamemaster Joel, the behind the scenes tour at the end. It’s honestly one of the most fun escape rooms we’ve done, and the fact that it’s all online made it possible to gather with a group spread out across the country. Highly recommended if you enjoy magical, musical puzzling and role play. Just delightful.

The Keeper and the Fungus Among Us is one of the most unique games I've ever played, and takes full advantage of the Zoom medium to create a whimsical, fantastic escape room experience. I found the difficulty a bit too easy for my liking, but it was still a fun time! The entire build, both physically and technologically, is amazing.

This game was so creative and whimsical and fun! We were so impressed by the massive feat they achieved to make this game doable. From the puppets, to the music, to the scene changes, to the tech of the puzzles…it was so well done and seamless. The game master/creator was very enjoyable and even gave us a behind the scenes tour. He said there may be a prequel to the game coming out soon and we definitely want to come back and play that too. Highly highly recommend if you’re looking for a good game that is virtual, funny, or creative. Thank you for having us!

Pure brilliance.

Such a light, funny, charming, creative, and lovingly-crafted game! The use of an avatar was really quirky and strange. The interactivity between us and the host made it so memorable. The puzzles were clever and offered a bit of variety, as there was a combination of observation, making connections, role playing, and combining items. Many puzzles were multi-layered, building on previous solves in satisfying ways. The songs and characters were weird and delightful, and it felt like an stage production of a video game. Can’t recommend this one enough!

This was my first live escape room experience and I wasn’t sure what to anticipate but I was blown away with the ingenuity and creativity on display for this game. All the love and details that was put in made incredible moments to remember and the after game talk with Joel the owner only proved that this project had his whole attention put into it. I can’t wait to play his next game whenever it goes public and you should play this game already. p.s. we also got the fastest time for a team of two. just sayin~

That was so much fun! It’s different and hilarious and just all the things. Loved it so much!
