Lock & Clue Escape Rooms]Escape roomIRLThis was the first game I’ve played at Mystery Soup on recommendation by one of my coworkers. I was up in Providence visiting friends and I had a great time! The set dec was really nice and immersive and I liked how almost every piece of it was involved in a puzzle. As a Fallout fan, I love some of the subtle nods and references here, while also maintaining its own story. We got slowed down on a few puzzles we’re started to overthink, but overall very nice gameplay and flow. I love multiple room escape rooms, and this definitely checked that box, and our Game Master Zach was very nice and helped us out when needed just the right amount to keep immersion. I do think it could have done with a bit more of a “showy” finale, but from one independent escape room employee to another, well done and I’d love to check out the other rooms if I’m ever back in town!
