Doomsday Disaster: Bunker Tested, Apocalypse Appoved

This place was really fun and cool as well, though it was quite easy with the 4 of us lol

In our over 100 rooms, we've never seen this theme before! This had us smiling and laughing at all the fun attention to detail and Easter eggs in the room. You can tell the owner put a lot of heart into designing all the 3D-printed props and custom-crafted set pieces. We talked with him for quite a while after the room, and that was a lot of fun too! The whole vibe of the place with the rubber ducks and cute theming was very fun and welcoming. Wish we lived closer to check out their other rooms, because we were very impressed!

I really liked the opening of this room! It was a great way to be immersed at the start of the game, and there were a lot of nice references spread throughout the room. A downside my team noticed however was the space is quite small for 4 (tall) adults. Overall a solid room with simple enough puzzles.

Another great room from this location. We had a great GM who made sure we had the best experience (and the perfect voice for the hints). This is a situation where you can see and hear a passion for escape rooms and it makes a world of a difference. We will be back to try every room!

This was the first game I’ve played at Mystery Soup on recommendation by one of my coworkers. I was up in Providence visiting friends and I had a great time! The set dec was really nice and immersive and I liked how almost every piece of it was involved in a puzzle. As a Fallout fan, I love some of the subtle nods and references here, while also maintaining its own story. We got slowed down on a few puzzles we’re started to overthink, but overall very nice gameplay and flow. I love multiple room escape rooms, and this definitely checked that box, and our Game Master Zach was very nice and helped us out when needed just the right amount to keep immersion. I do think it could have done with a bit more of a “showy” finale, but from one independent escape room employee to another, well done and I’d love to check out the other rooms if I’m ever back in town!

I absolutely loved the environment of this room. It really had me feeling like I was trying to survive the apocalypse in this bunker. I especially loved all the legally-distinct nods to the Fallout games.

Excellent theming and super fun game play!

One of the best small town games I’ve ever played. Lots of comedy on display, extremely well designed puzzles, and although there’s not a ton of story, it’s incredibly immersive. Lots of fun props to play around with and amazing game masters and hosts. A little bit too walkthrough-y and missing an easily includable dramatic ending, but those are minor nitpicks for an incredibly great game.

Our first at Mystery Soup was a lot of fun. Banter with Game Master Zach was quite entertaining. Sadly we didn't ask for hints this time and apparently missed out on his most assuredly best puns and funniest one-liners. Definitely add Mystery Soup to your list when visiting Providence.

Very interactive and great mix of puzzles. Multiple rooms made it an awesome experience. Fun and challenging. Definitely would recommend this room!
