Treasure Island
Brain Games Escape Room
Escape room
IRL
My first escape room about 7 years ago was pirate themed and I’ve wanted to another one ever since. That room was the early days of escape rooms and wow how far we’ve come! This one was A-mazing! From the very first room the set pieces were stunning. Every inch of the room was themed. And so many easter eggs for Disney and movie lovers! And quite a few unique puzzles I’ve never encountered before. And the gamemaster was awesome! She really kept the theme going with their unique hint system and gave us an extra 5 minutes we needed. I must say this one is definitely in my top 3!! A MUST for any escape room enthusiast
The Tipsy Tailor
Escapement Rooms

This is a good one for experienced people. So many puzzles you can do all at once and they all follow the theme of the room you are in. It can be a bit overwhelming so not recommended for newbies. It’s smaller space so I wouldn’t recommend more than 4 people but can be challenging with less players due to the amount of puzzles. There is a point system too as they expect the room to be a challenge and not be fully completed but very doable if you’ve been in the puzzle game for a while

The Escape Game - Las Vegas

I loved the theming of this room as it brought back some major nostalgia. It’s also a limited time room so do it when you can! If you’ve done their playground room in other cities it’s similar concept and flow but not similar enough that if you did playground it would be the same. A great room for beginners and parties of like 6. Wouldn’t recommend more than that as the rooms aren’t that big.
The Last Supper
Quest Tavern
Escape room

The reviews for this place were all over with many saying it was spooky and hilarious but honestly that’s spot on. The atmosphere is scary and the suspense is amped up but the gamemaster is hilarious. Everyone we encountered is super nice and it was such a unique experience. It was like role playing with an escape room all in one. Bring someone who isn’t afraid of the dark for one section. If you are on the fence because it might look scary I would say go for it because it really is worth it and again it only has like 2 or 3 moments that might be considered scary that you’d laugh about after.

This room is one of the best I’ve done for big groups. Non-linear with several teamwork related puzzles that force smaller groups to work together. The final puzzle is awesome and truly brings out that inner kid. Completed this room with 9 people as a work team building activity and it was a blast. I don’t remember elementary school subjects being so fun. Plus the video at the beginning does a great job of immersing you in the story
EVIL Robots
The Nemesis Club
Escape room

One of those “from the moment you walk in” type experiences. Just getting to the entrance gives off a speakeasy vibe, like a hidden exclusive club. The whole area is themed great and that’s before you get in to the room! We are from LA which contains a lot of great escape rooms and this one is in our top 10 for sure. Great use of tech and one section even has you feeling like a spy. Also the main character of the room is one of the best parts. Definitely a must try if you are in the area

The Ministry Of Peculiarities
Escape room
IRL
Hands down the best escape room experience I have done. The actors were in character from the moment you walk in. Every puzzle goes along with the theme of the room, which is like a rich Victorian era home. You don’t have to worry about time either as they do their best to move things along automatically. Be aware your party will be split up in the beginning for a short time. And our in room actor was excellent, really making us immersed in the experience. And the ending varies based on so many factors so everyone’s finale is likely to be different, very cool.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
60Out - Melrose
Escape room
IRL
The best 60out has to offer. The theme goes to the newest Jumanji reboot and is done so perfectly you feel like you are in the game. Puzzles are very unique and I’m sure one you won’t find anywhere else. The game master was awesome and even gave us a bit of extra time as we rushed through the end to escape. One of the better rooms we have done and definitely in the top 5
Lab Rat
Hatch Escapes
Escape room
IRL
This room reverse the concept of a lab rat where you are shrunken down and are the test subject! Everything feels larger than life and room has some very teamwork puzzles. Puzzles are perfectly themed to the room and and story is great. In my top 5 for sure
Red Giant
Quest Room - Hollywood

One of the better themed rooms I have done and loved the Egyptian theme. You really feel as though you are exploring an Egyptian tomb. The puzzles all go along with the theme as well with nothing feeling out of place. The gamemaster we had was very nice and enthusiastic in his role helping with the immersive feeling
