Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime, or rather, an adventure in a whole different time! Join forces with Intrepid and explore the Tipsy Tailor, a secretive shop from the 1920’s! Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Tipsy Tailor seems to host more than just your average suit and tie. Some say it was involved in a bootlegging ring, with the uptight owner at the helm of a hidden speakeasy that produced many tonics despite the era’s prohibition laws. However, there seemed to have been at least one tonic gone bad. Poisonous, even! The Intrepid Adventure Society needs your help uncovering the secrets held both within and past the Tipsy Tailor’s walls. Will you and your team be able to procure some under the table product before it’s too late?

One of the best, if not the best, rooms I've ever done at Intrepid. Love the set design. Our GM was friendly. Challenging puzzles, but not too complex. Highly recommend!

2 Couples 1 Room Escapes again! We had a gentleman who has been working for just a few months. Although he made some mistakes we felt he did great! I loved a lot of puzzles within the tailor shop. I also loved the acting that I got to do within the rooms. Always fun to be a little extra in some of these rooms. Definitely try to locate all 12 Alcohol bottles if possible! After we completed the room with 23mins left we spoke with the GMs who showed us how 2 puzzles worked. We also got to see the inner workings of how the escape room worked. It was awesome to see how much technical work goes into a room in the background.
Story was interesting for sure. Loved how each room flowed into each other.
Felt very immersive. Felt like we were out on the streets and within a tailor shop.

Incredible props and room design. Puzzles had a variety of difficulties, but not too hard. Best for groups of 3 - 5.

This is a fun room with a lot of unique puzzles and a cool theme. With 7 people we were mostly still busy but you could do it with 4/5.

Very fun room - we had 4 but I can see this room supporting even more. There were a lot of puzzles with a combination of locks and more technical puzzles. Fairly immersive.

God, I wish I remembered the name of our host, because she was an absolute delight, and really elevated the experience. I was apprehensive about completing an objective-based game, rather than an escape-based one, but after all the positive feedback I’d heard about the original version of Tipsy Tailor really made me want to try it anyway, and I’m so glad that I did. The array of challenges was so, so impressive - there really is a little bit of everything in this room, and it felt intentionally haphazard, rather than messy. I’ve loved the aesthetic of Intrepid’s rooms before, and this just continues that trend. Definitely a tight room - we had two players and completed all objectives by the skin of our teeth, so I honestly think a group of 2-4 is more than fine. Maybe 5 if you need someone else to bounce back and forth, but I think more than that would be way too cramped. Loved, loved, loved this room.

What an interesting time traveling mission! This room is filled with challenging yet interesting puzzles. I’d recommend having 4-6 people in a group and complete in parallel. Our game master Kat plays an crucial role making this such an immersive experience:)
