Dragon Alley
Keystone Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
Fun room with a wisecracking skeleton as a guide. Obvious care and craft have been spent on the set and feel of the room, and had some puzzles I enjoyed quite a bit. We did it with a team of three and think a team of 3-5 is ideal.

Care and craftsmanship evident in the set, a couple jump scares, good game flow. We were a team of three (could easily be done with two), but four or more would have people occasionally without things to do.

One of the most moving rooms I’ve ever done. Even a year later, I still think about it and tell friends about it. I completed it solo. It’s not really an escape room. The point isn’t to quickly solve and move through the room, but to experience and examine and reflect. I cannot put into words how much I loved it.

Enjoyable room with a nice pre-recorded voice actor at the beginning to set the mood. A couple creepy moments and jump scares, but overall not very scary. We had a team of three and escaped with almost 14 minutes left despite the GM having to come in to unjam three locks. Probably could have easily done it with two. The lights will not turn off when you use your voice (unless you yell), but there are plenty of things that clang in the room. Enjoyed the transition between the first and second room.

Immersion: 5/10 You’re on an actual bus, which is great, but you’re looking out into the parking lot, so that breaks the atmosphere immediately. Most things on the bus were competently created, but not crafted. Puzzles 6.5/10: standard stuff… all combo and key locks, black lights, bouncing light off mirrors, etc. Story Integration 3/10: really this could have been on a submarine, or a killer has you locked in a room, etc. without having to change any puzzles or anything about the narrative. The puzzles didn’t really fit the story, since the story was a derivative way to get a team solving puzzles. Video: 1/10… little attention or budget was spent making the intro in terms of acting, video quality, etc. Finale (8/10): I thought where you escaped was fun. Customer Service: 9/10 Everyone was extremely nice and helpful
