The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLAmazing puzzles and even better atmosphere. Utterly terrifying at several points and that was excellent for our group. We had a big party (6) but no one was ever bored. This was the first escape room for some of our party and it actually set the bar so high that other games struggle to live up. High tech, novel gameplay blended with horror that will have you squeezing your eyes shut at several points. We did this around Halloween and it made HHN at Universal look like amateur hour in terms of scares. 100% a must do in the area. Wish I could erase my memories of it and do it again.
Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLSecond scariest room I've ever personally done, but that's entirely because the actor in this room gave an oscar winning performance that provided one of the best scares I've ever had. I'm sure all the GMs here give an amazing performance, but dang Will (I think this was his name, apologies if that's wrong) REALLY sold it. Had us hooked from the beginning to end. Things may not have been so scary for other groups, but we enjoyed exactly the level we got. The gameplay was good, we got a little struck once or twice, but mostly that was us moving too fast and us not working methodically enough. Nothing was super novel, but that didn't detract from the room. There was a great natural point of collaboration for our group that appealed to different problem solving strategies. Highly recommend. All rooms here have been awesome, so you can't go wrong.
Cinema 7Will To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLDefinitely one of, if not THE, best rooms in Orlando. The experience was immersive, well designed, and flowed well. Enjoyed the fact that we had several puzzles for people to work on at once and the variety of puzzles let everyone in our group (4 very different problem solvers) shine at least once. Only needed 2 hints and one was because I was too hasty and missed something. I wouldn't call it scary, more eerie, but our group isn't sensitive to horror.
