The haunted tour company, Wickedly Terrifying Excursions, is excited to offer haunt enthusiasts tours to the Grove Theater, a 1920s abandoned movie theater where, Cinema 7, is the last theater standing. While the rest of the Grove Theater was set to be demolished, a group called TFC has pushed to save the theater, to which because of their efforts, tours to the Grove Theater can begin.

This was probably my favorite escape room so far! Spooky but not scary, great theme & set, good mix of technology & mechanical puzzles, super helpful host (Alexis), and just generally really fun
Game play was super fun! It was technically nonlinear but it flowed so well it almost felt linear. Lots of different styles of puzzles as well
Super immersive, fun props and effects, set design was great
Alexis was a fabulous host and helper!
Memorable plot and elements were all super well integrated
Hard
We required 5 or so hints to complete the room on time. Not all of the challenges were hard but there were many of them!
High tech

3-4 is ideal I think, more might be too crowded and 2 could be a challenge unless you’re pretty experienced
Spooky
One of our teens was a bit scared at times but at the end we agreed it was more spooky than scary. No live actors and mild jump scares from boxes opening. General spooky lighting & music & theme

Easy
Note there is a parking garage which will cost ~$6-7 extra for the duration of game play

HANDS DOWN, Cinema 7 was and is THE BEST Escape Room we have encountered. The theming, clues and music were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I don't see anyone topping this Escape Room. If we had about 2 more minutes we could have escaped this room. If you are ever in Orlando, this is a must do.
Flowed flawlessly
Theming was FANTASTIC
Our GM was PERFECT.

Loved this game! The set was very well done. I loved how unique the puzzles were and I thought the tech was very well incorporated. It was more of a spooky vibe with some creepy lighting and a few boxes that popped open loudly. No live actors or scares that jump out at you, so if you’re a bit of a scared cat like me you’re in luck. Trevor and Chris did a great job designing this game! The staff was also very friendly and gave nudges when we needed them but weren’t pushy about giving them (which I appreciate) Now with the positives said and done, I only had two negatives. My first one being the location itself. It’s located inside a mall that requires paid parking which (as far as I could see) was not mentioned on the website or in the confirmation email. So if you’ve never been there before, be prepared for that and potential crowds if you are going on a weekend. My other negative was the storyline. (Minor spoiler) The beginning of the game is set up like the movie theater is haunted but as you play through you find out it is something different and I wasn’t a fan of what the “real story” ended up being, but that was a matter of personal preference. Overall it was a very good game with great puzzle flow and an immersive set and I would definitely go back for another game.

Cinema 7 is one of the BEST themed and immersive rooms I have EVER done!! (57 games played at time of review) unique puzzles, immersive theming, multiple rooms, and lots of surprises.

Well done room! Everything tied together well and none of the puzzles were terribly difficult. The creepiness of the rooms theme and music was perfect. My only complaint is that the room was pretty dark (which is fine) but it made some of the colors hard to determine especially for my old eyes. With they included a flashlight. The ending was a different twist than I expected but it was fine. We escaped!!!
Flowed well. Several rooms but they all were close to each other.
A bit creepy but not so creepy we were distracted by it.

This experience is very physically active that has moments of complete darkness, elevational changes and moments where at least one player must be able to crawl and climb up & down stairs. We strongly recommended wearing closed toed shoes. This experience also has some themes that may be considered disturbing and mature to some players. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns.
