As with the other Escape Venture games, the puzzles are fun and the flow works so well. Our game master Shadd was amazing! The game master is a big part of the game and he hit it out of the park. Loved the set design as well. This was Tina’s 500th game and they went out of their way to make it special for her. What a great experience.
The TempleEnter Locked Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe really enjoyed all four games we played here. This one may be our favorite by a small margin over Rooftop and Pizzeria. Okay, maybe tied with Pizzeria. The set designs for all the rooms are very good. They do a lot with the small spaces they have. The puzzles (for the most part) are fun. The staff is amazing. Shout out to Camden and Natalie. On the flip side, we really wish they took team photos in the rooms. If you have a good set, show it off is what I say.

Zombie AutopsyGulf Coast Escape Room - DestinEscape roomIRLThis place is located right in the heart of a tourist area. Despite the bad ratings, we decided to give it a try. This was one of the worst rooms we’ve ever played. The puzzles, set design, flow, game hosting…everything is bad. What a waste of money. Places like this make me angry and sad because I know that if this is someone’s first experience with escape rooms, they may never go to another one again.
Swallowed: A Pirate's TaleLocked in Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis *one-room game was very fun. The puzzles are ones we’ve seen before but they were presented in creative ways. We enjoyed the theme of the game and the owners are a delight. They ensure guests have a wonderful time from the moment they walk in. We love owners who go beyond the room and make their lobbies fun and appealing. Even the restroom has a fun decorated theme.
The CabinTrapped In The Upstate - GreerEscape roomIRLA very fun game. This one is perfect for newer players, may be on the easy side for enthusiasts. The set design was great and the puzzles were fun.
Saving SantaTrapped In The Upstate - GreerEscape roomIRLThis is a cute game in a smaller space. It is perfect for families. Older adults may want to choose another game as the lighting is dim and no flashlights are provided. Also, there is crawling. If neither of that bothers you, you’ll enjoy this game.
The Hillbilly StillCloak and Dagger Escape Rooms - DestinEscape roomIRLThis small, one room game is 30 minutes. The theming and set design are very good. Many of the puzzles are also pretty good, but the flow is not great. This game can definitely use better signposting. You also need to do a lot of touching and prodding of all props and decor to find hidden things. Nothing leads you to these and it’s counterintuitive for those who have played multiple escape rooms.
The Society of Adventurers: Jingle Through the JungleEdge EscapeEscape roomIRLThis game was a bit of a mixed bag. Most of the puzzles were enjoyable, but a few were not. With a few tweaks to a couple of the puzzles and tasks, this game could be excellent. There was also one spot we kept tripping on and that needs to be changed. Those things aside, the set design was pretty good, the staff is great, and the overall game is decent.
The Carnival of WondersLocked InnEscape roomIRLThis game is carnival themed, so we knew there would be at least a couple of carnival games to play (I love those). Most of the puzzles made sense and were fun to do. We also liked the ambiance with the music and lighting. It is very creepy (not scary), so if you like that kind of thing (like we do), then you should enjoy this game.
