40 ThievesMindTrap Escape Room - TemeculaEscape roomIRLThis room ranks amongst my absolute favorites of all time. Me and my family visited this room and were immediately greeted by three really lovely game masters. Isaia, Jacob, and Madi you were all really awesome thank you so much for making this an awesome experience. The room itself is really difficult and immersive and ultra non-linear. Super cool room!! 100/10 would recommend especially for experienced escapers!
The TreehouseConfusion EscapesEscape roomIRLThis game is incredibly unique compared to a large number of other escape rooms I've personally played in the sense that there are multiple paths of completion which allow your team to choose whether to work very non-linearly or together. The atmosphere and set design in the room is perfect and clearly showcases a large amount of dedication on the owner, Jay's, part. Beyond just the room, however, this was one of our favorite escape room experiences in a while purely based on how amazing our GM, Jose, was. From the moment we walked in the door, he had this good vibe about him that made him an easy guy to talk to, while still keeping us immersed in the experience. We pribably stayed back 15 minutes after the game ended just to talk to him because he was one of those GMs that makes an experience memorable. We are wishing him the best at SDSU and on his path of nursing! Overall, an excellent night that we need to recommend to every group looking for a fun outing.
The Last JobConfusion EscapesEscape roomIRLFrom the moment we walked in we knew this experience was going to be fun. Our GM, Gunner, was an absolute delight and made our experience all-the-more enjoyable. The room itself was incredibly unique, and although we've done nearly 100 rooms, this was nothing like anything we had seen before. The puzzles and atmosphere were incredible, and the immersion made us feel like we were actually in a heist. Overall 10/10 experience, would highly recommend for everyone. We did it with a party of 4 and weren't very cramped, but i would still recommend smallerparties like 2-4.
Enter the Dark Wizard's PursuitEnter Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room was super fun. As a family of Harry Potter nerds the room felt incredibly immersive and true to actual Harry Potter lore with incredible attention to detail! The puzzles themselves were very difficult with our family, decently expert escape room players, actually needing to use two hints to progress, which we almost never use. A few puzzles did feel a little less than intuitive, so i would suggest a large group (4-5) so you can have a diverse field of mindsets and viewpoints when faced with challenges. Overall really incredible room, easily one of my favorites (I may be biased--I LOVE HP) and it was helped a lot by our game master AJ who was super friendly and enthusiastic about our performance.
