This family-friendly, Scooby-Doo-style mystery has you attending a carnival-themed reunion down in Louisiana. Something tragic happened here decades ago. You’ll discover that out in the swamp, amid the alligators and fireflies, the past is still very much “alive”. Can you follow the clues and solve the puzzles before the clock strikes midnight? Or will you become a permanent part of history?

This room was great! Well designed and very fun!! Puzzles were well made and our whole group really enjoyed it!

I admit, this was another non-scary escape room that I thoroughly enjoyed! What made this escape room unique was that it utilized the entire space, the puzzles were hidden within the set design, and the Game Master was physically present within the escape room as well. I played this escape room before the COVID-19 Pandemic, so there was a live actor (the Game Master) who played the Magician which just added to the immersive experience. He was a lot of fun, had a great sense of humor, and he was very knowledgeable. He didn’t give away hints unless he saw that we were desperately struggling, which we were at certain points haha. Out of the two escape rooms at Red Lantern Escape, Midnight on the Bayou was BY FAR the best one here!

Experienced escapists will breeze through this one but it’s very cute. Nothing really bad to say about it.

There's a lot of space and the decor initially makes it look like it's going to be a good room. However, as you play through, the puzzles aren't challenging, the decor isn't utilized well, and the space is best used to stand around. Half of our group was just hanging out as if we were actually at a reunion.

High production room, room was pretty big and puzzles weren’t super linear so you can definitely have bigger parties. For our party of 4, we felt the puzzles were doable without hints.

Non-linear game. Spooky, and I liked the atmosphere. Larger space, good for bigger groups.

This was probably the most boring room that I have ever done. It’s as though the owner did not know what to do with all of the space in the room. It was very lackluster.

This was one of the most boring rooms I have ever done. The amount of unused space in the room is awkward.

This escape room was huge!! So many fun puzzles to solve that kept my group of 4 busy. The last puzzle was a bit frustrating but overall we enjoyed the experience.

OBSESSED WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS. Roy, our game master/co-owner, an actual angel. This game has it all. Incredible story, environment, puzzles. We were dazzled, we cried at one point! Playyyy! Now!
