Nightmare at the Museum
PuzzleWorks
Escape room

So exciting and wonderful puzzles and production design! Dripping with atmosphere and intrigue. One of my all time favorites!
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle Adventure
Escapology - Burnsville
Escape room
IRL
Nothing too flashy as far as a room goes, just a really solid experience utilizing a fun IP! If you like the classic Scooby-Doo cartoon, I highly recommend!
Dragon's Keep
Trapped Puzzle Rooms - North Loop
Escape room
IRL
A room that isn’t too flashy, but is just really good at what it does. It feels cozy, and is a room I honestly want to do again and again. Even knowing answers to the puzzles, I kind of just want to hang out in this room.
The Mine
The Real Escape
Escape room

Absolutely incredible. An actor routinely jump scares you in super clever ways, and it has some of the best atmospheric tension too. The number of times we were asked to brave a pitch black darkness to find vital puzzle components… One of my top two favorite rooms of all time.
The Anomaly
PuzzleWorks
Escape room

Really don’t like the structure here, as it feels so bad to be on the “last minute time crunch” for the whole game. Would work better if it was just a standard 60 minutes for the whole thing, rather than 20 minutes for each section. None of the rooms play or interact with each other, which isn’t nearly as fun as PuzzleWorks’s other stuff.
Budapest Express
Escapology - Burnsville

As far as rooms go, it’s on the more basic side. But that’s not a bad thing in this context! It feels like a classic, bread and butter experience. It has a simple theme, but makes for a fun backdrop to solve puzzles.
