“AMAZING!!!!! Beautifully themed room with so many crazy elements and great scares. The live actors were a lot of fun and added so much to the experience as a whole. The story was a lot of fun as well. We were treated so well by our game master Rina! This is a must do room if you can handle the horror element.”

“What a phenomenal room! The Escape Artist truly has something special tucked away in Greenville, SC. I was blown away by the commitment to the overall theme, atmosphere, and storyline — everything felt so thoughtfully designed and immersive. We only had time to tackle one of the Chimera Saga rooms during our visit, but we absolutely had a blast with Dark Lullaby. The puzzles were clever and satisfying, and the spooky, unique storyline had us hooked from the moment we stepped inside. The set design was fantastic and really brought the story to life — it felt like stepping straight into a beautifully twisted dream. And of course, we loved the addition of our new little friend who joined us in the room and helped point us in the right direction when we needed it - they were a dream teammate! 🤡 I absolutely loved the story, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail. Dark Lullaby was a fantastic room, and now I’m even more excited to come back and complete the rest of the Chimera Saga. Hopefully, the next one is just as dreamy… 🌙🖤”

“One of the absolute best haunt based rooms we have ever played anywhere, without question. Most ride on the scare factor alone, while this room put forward great quality puzzles. The scare factor and acting was top notch. Absolutely a must play room... as long as you like scary 😱 I'll also say the owners/actors are SUPER EXTRA COOL!. Mind you we do NOT rate rooms based on people, but it is worth saying.”

“Excellent game! We opted to play without live actor only because we just don’t really like that style of play. They told us it wasn’t necessary for the game play and they were totally right. Kinda just takes the game from scary to spooky. Better for me! Really good use of space and some puzzles we actually haven’t seen before which is rare at this point. We played as two very experienced players and got out in just over an hour. 100% play this game.”

The puzzles, the atmosphere, the attention to detail in every room, and especially the actor’s performance were all incredible. We screamed more than a few times. The gamemaster was fantastic too. The Escape Warehouse

  • Escape room
  • IRL

“Most escape room intro videos are kinda boring, but this one was really cool. It rooted the storyline in local lore, as well as set a spooky tone that would carry on throughout the entire experience. They should make similar videos for their other two rooms! Also, using a separate room specifically for onboarding is a smart move, since it removes the distraction of being inside the escape room itself. Shhh! was a sprawling, multilevel exploration that ranged from mildly unsettling to downright twisted. It was pretty hard too, so I’d recommend a group of 3-4 experienced enthusiasts. Set design was top notch, convincing, and super creepy, and I was genuinely frightened during certain portions. I feel like the puzzles were more search heavy than the average escape room, and a particular dexterity task was especially memorable. If you’re a taller individual, watch yourself on the upper level! I whacked my head pretty badly at one point. This room is a prequel to the other two rooms at Escape Warehouse, but you won’t notice unless you pay VERY close attention. We didn’t pick up on it, but our GM explained the connection to us. It should be much more apparent, as this is a huge missed opportunity for world building. I’ll just post this non-spoilery teaser pic”

“Rating: 4/5 - Their scariest room with a fully immersive set Pros: ➕ Lots of tense moments and minor jump scares. ➕ The narrative was enjoyable and I liked how the hints were delivered via a character (pre-recorded audio) involved with the story. ➕ The set felt fairly large with multiple spaces to discover and explore. ➕ Everything was decorated appropriately grimy and gross, floor to ceiling. The set was fully immersive and very high quality. ➕ Audio and lighting effects added to the immersion. ➕ Mix of padlocks and tech. ➕ Most of the props looked VERY realistic. ➕ I enjoyed the puzzles in this more than some of their other games. ➕ Set was dark, but everyone got their own flashlight on a lanyard. ➕ GM was friendly and helpful. Room for improvement: ➖ I wish they incorporated the GM as an actor to ramp up the immersion and scare level. ➖ No really big "wow" moments like some of their other rooms. The set also wasn't as impressive or unique since asylum themes are pretty common nowadays. We played as a team of 5 enthusiasts and it took us almost the full hour. Make sure you are not afraid to ask for hints, also tell the game master to nudge you when you get behind. Very playable as a team of 4, I would say it's a moderate challenge. My ranking of all 8 rooms here: 1. Cutthroat Cavern ❤️ 2. Tomb of Anubis ❤️ 3. Spellbound ❤️ 4. Disappearance of Flight 13 ❤️ 5. The Asylum ❤️ 6. The Collector 👍 7. Agent 13 👍 8. Death Row👍”

“Rating: 4/5 - My favorite here so far, immersive and tech filled Here's what I enjoyed about this room: ➕Set looks great and is immersive, every inch is decorated and every object fits the theme. ➕Lighting is dark and moody but there was sufficient spotlighting to see the puzzles ➕Multiple rooms to discover and explore ➕Lots of tech (RFID, maglocks, sensors, LEDs), only a couple of padlocks. ➕Some special effects ➕There is ambient audio and sound effects which adds to the immersion ➕Some fun surprises and some effective jump scares, ending is also cool. ➕Puzzles were more on the easier side, but still enjoyable. There was a decent variety. ➕GM was friendly but we didn't really need much help. I'd recommend teams of 2-3 enthusiasts. Our group of 3 finished with 23 min left and no hints. No crawling or climbing. There are some jump scares and the set has some spookiness so I would say it's very lightly scary. My ranking of the rooms at this company so far, starting with my favorite: 1. Blackwater Harbor (Novi) 2. The Gate (Novi) 3. Black Cat Fortune Teller (Brighton) 4. The Butcher (Mini room at Novi) 5. “This room ended up being a pleasant surprise! Not always a huge fan of horror since it runs the risk of sidelining puzzles, but this room is still authentically an escape room. The gameplay complements the narrative wonderfully, and I was satisfied as a puzzle enthusiast. The real strengths of the room lie in the set design and theatrics though, and they culminated in a truly memorable experience. I found myself admiring each room I went through. The story was refreshingly more engaging than typical escape rooms, and my group ended up being invested in the details for the fun of it. Easily one of my favorite Omescape rooms!”

“The Seventh Room was an absolute adventure - the set, story, and puzzles facilitated a horror game that was longer and in some places more intense than average. While I wouldn’t say the game was overwhelmingly scary, there were definitely a few moments that were fairly intense - thankfully, you can opt in to these moments. The way the set unfolded was highly novel, which allowed for some uncommon exploration and excellent scene transitions. If you’re in Orlando, stop in - even if you’re horror adverse.”

“This room was such a blast to play. I went in initially worried about how scary it would be. Much to my surprise, what scares you can also make you laugh depending on how you react to Mr. Giggles', umm, constructive criticism. They do a great job of not trying to scare you while you're working on puzzles, and because they play it this way, the puzzles need to be good as they really stand on their own, and they do just that. The puzzles worked well with the theme, and nothing felt like a reach. My wife and I played this room as a group of two, and I believe we did quite well.”

We took a little bit to get started, but once we did, the flow between puzzles was really smooth. We had no problems solving the room with three people and only struggled on the final puzzle. Probably our favorite set design of the three rooms at this location (though it’s stiff competition). All of the puzzles were unique and non-conventional. “My husband and I did a weekend trip and did all six rooms! These are all amazing rooms that you must do if you get the chance. Bring a team of four. There is so much to see and do that even if you could do it with a smaller team you'll want to be able to have the opportunity to take it all in. The staff was super nice in that they let us complete all of the rooms even though our time had run out on 5 of the 6 rooms. They aren't very chatty but I chalk that up to the amount of reset they need to do after a team works their way through the game. The sets are next level and are some of the best I have come across. Every detail is thought out to such an amazing degree. Kudos to the set team who designed the sets. The puzzles are beyond excellent! The flow was exceptional in every room! I won't go into super detail because these all need to be experienced! If you have any questions, please reach out to me! Loved, loved, loved this entire experience!!”

Chapters 1 and 2 had more of the jump-out-and-scare-you energy, but chapter 3 brings its own vibe. Puzzles? Great. Atmosphere? Great. Some puzzles felt original. I liked the contrast between the first and the last rooms. The story makes sense. There is one optional mini-puzzle just for the story, and it was scary. Everything about this escape room was right: no skill-based puzzles, no memorization puzzles, no weird agility-based physical exercises, we had a good mix of perception, physical, and logical puzzles.
