Wizard's InitiationExitus Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room was frustrating to us. We perhaps weren’t in the right mind set that night. We did horribly. That being said, I think the room is great. We got bogged down on one of the first puzzles. We were relatively new to escape rooms and didn’t want to wimp out to ask for clues, that being said, perhaps a friendly nudge would have been in order. The staff was fantastic though.

Tomb RaidersMission Possible Escape Rooms MiltonEscape roomIRLThis was an awesome room with a great mix of tech and locks and problem solving. Some unusual puzzles/aspects I’d never seen before. The room functioned well and flowed nicely. Theming was good and decoration eta all fit the theme.
Below The SphinxTrapped GuelphEscape roomIRLExcellent escape room with neat theming. Well worth doing. The venue is great, offering refreshments and snacks for sale. Lots of games and things to do while waiting. The temperature was also on the cool side, which to us was fantastic as we usually come out of the room too hot.

ShaftedEscapeworXEscape roomIRLThis is our last and probably favourite room here. The rooms are all very dark though. Our game master was attentive and helpful and immediately responded to hints requests/questions. The main part we didn’t like (not room specific but applies to all rooms here) is that you get 1 hint free and every hint thereafter results in losing 5 minutes of time. However the hints were solid and always resulted in us being very clear what our next step was.

The temperature was very hot in the room, so at least wear layers. The game master was very good. The hint system is easy to use, exceedingly helpful and not limited.

Emergency ExitEscapeworXEscape roomIRLIt was a good room. It does start out in pitch dark though and doesn’t get much lighter. As my eyesight isn’t the best, this on is not my favourite situation. However, game play was good and there were a few surprises. Room was immersive and gameplay made sense.
